I noticed someone asked about lines earlier in the thread. I've been gone awhile but I wanted to share a couple that I've had some success with. Koala is my go to. Since getting back into tinder it's worked to start a conversation in all of the last twenty attempts. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it's really difficult to transition into a conversation unless the girl gives you something to work with.
BF/GF always transitioned the best for me, but its success rate for replies is considerably lower than koala. If the girl is lighthearted and has fun with it, then it's gold.
And as always: close as soon as possible regardless of your strategy. You are just another face in the app. You want to get her number and a meet immediately so that you can graduate from a thumbnail among hundreds to a real person.
