Thanks for the kind words. As a matter of fact, /div/ was the source of one of my two joys in 2015. I never cared as much about the readings; I wanted it to be a place of learning, and I was proud to have promoted the learning, even moreso to have produced such great students personally; all three are great scryers.
It's funny, but I actually decided to try to help others after seeing I was screwed for the year myself (Hijinks scried my romantic prospects as "nudes, nudes, nudes, nudes, and more nudes"), and I had hoped it would help out my search somehow. Maybe it has, maybe it hasn't, but I figured my energy would be better spent working directly. I wanted to handle the search myself, but I might take my acquaintance's suggestion of a Mercury Working and just hope it doesn't bite me in the ass.
If I can get that out of the way, then I can start doing some really interesting things I'd like to do. Somewhere far away from here, I think.

i keep having weird moments, sort of déjà vus. where i find myself in situations which i swear i've been in before in a dream. it's just short moments and every few months. but it's kinda freaky, because i've been in that exact same situation in a dream before. it kinda stuns me and weirds me out. last time was a few weeks ago at work. me and my colleagues were on the way back to our cars after work and i just kinda walked alongside them. and then it hit me again, just with one step i found myself in a situation which i had dreamed of before.

Psychonaut Field Manual is watered-down Chaos Magic, and using that as a basis is bound the stunt the student. It's entertaining and a fun read, but I cannot recommend it for any except the most uncommitted of dilettantes, or someone who just wants an entertaining quick read.
Prometheus Rising is a good intro to the occult (pic related). The Rowe article, if I remember correctly, primarily discusses astral scrying, which is somewhat similar to what I practice. It's convenient, and I prefer it to using a mirror, but it's hard to know if what you're seeing is legitimate or your own imagination until you have practiced enough with people who can confirm. It's an excellent article for what it is, though, and the presence of visions already makes this a natural choice.
The standard scrying text is Frater Achad's Crystal Vision Through Crystal Gazing:

Of course, you can just study trance and induce visions like I do. There's no real definitive text for that, but I learned by studying basic seiđr. There are many text available on that now, most of which I haven't read, but the only good text available when I got started was TrancePortation by Paxson. Full seiđr is complete mindrape, so I wouldn't suggest it, but trance can be helpful. In addition to Paxson, you can read some self-hynosis manuals. Surgo of /omg/ on /x/ knows a good deal about that, so he might advise better. The Mega on /omg/ isn't a bad idea in general. I won't link it, as it occasionally gets you banned if you do, but it's not hard to find on the catalog over there.
