Hopefully people will post up in here as most of these threads usually die an instant death.

So /soc/, I'm very inexperienced with mixing drinks and tomorrow my friends and I are hitting mountains, doing bbq, and camping overnight. So naturally we want a good drink to celebrate. What should I buy and how should I prepare the drinks?

There are some bartending guides out there that have practically every mix drink in there and the ingredients/instructions to make them. Practically all depends on what kind of base you're wanting to use (vodka, rum, bourbon, etc.).

Nah, it's not ham flavored beer. It's just one of the cheap beers that you can get in mass quantities without breaking the bank. It's also not too bad tasting if all you're looking for is something that's cheap.

Lagunitas has only done me wrong one time, I had an imperial pilsner by them the other day and it didn't taste too great. It might've been old though since there was no date on the bottle. But yeah the price is what made me pick it up over anything else. 9.9% ABV too!
