Need help - how do you take a profile picture?
I need to make a tinder, but I don't know where to start. I've never taken a selfie before, let alone a picture for a dating app.
Pretty anxious because I have stupid standards and I don't know what to do. I look at this photo and it looks painfully disingenuous. Should I not smile and just chill?

I've never really been in a situation where people say 'hey let's take a picture'
my mother is quite insecure about her looks so there hasn't been much picture taking growing up in family, and it never happened at parties or other social gatherings
does it seem too desperate to have a tinder profile with only bathroom tier selfies?

Ideally you wanna keep the selfies down to 1 max. If they have trouble getting people to take good pictures of you try becoming friends with people that are into photography (this is big because they'll always wanna take pictures of me doing shit with a new camera or whatever) or if worst comes to worst pay some professional for a headshot.
