Day off, trying to decide what life path to take, feel free to offer input
Options:
-X-tech: 2 years of school, 16 month of externship 32 hours a week of free work though. Meh pay starting at like 24/hr. No real way to move up except learn more modalities. Saturated as fuck market atm. Already take xrays through WA company reg/training, kinda feels like jumping through hoops for alittle more $.
-PA: 5 years at the UoW for a masters program, competitive to get in. Pays the highest of all the options, like real job money. Fuck tho 5 years. Don't have your own license (or as much liability) (+/-). Would be soo fun to have a deeper understanding of everything in the body. Totally down to be a provider.
-RN -> ALNP: 4 years to be a baseline RN, starting pay like 34/h in hospitals. Not too into the idea of patient careplans and still taking orders. Probably not too hard to get picked up as a male because of reverse sexism, good to have other gender around for certain people. More schooling follows for ALNP tho and pays less than PA.
-Bio chem: Idea of working on new pharmaceuticals and understanding how they interact with the body would be baaaaller. Less interpersonal interaction tho (+/-). Don't have much of a chem knowledge base. This is a new thought for me.
-Maybe pharmacist but they get payed way less than the other options and still take a doctorate, best case would be on staff for an ED night shift but that seems hard to bust into

I also like bio chem because I'm biased and like bio chem. And less interpersonal interaction is a plus in my opinion. Dealing with patients can suck.
