I'm moving to this sunny ass state (Pasadena, whatever area code that is) from NC for school at the beginning of the year.

Not this year, bro. I live 10 mins from Pasadena and we've been getting record low temps this year. Drops to around 40 at nights. But Pasadena's nice. Make sure you check out the city hall at night. They've installed motion activated snake and tiger sounds in the garden and its pretty fun when you go at night with friends.

Have couple friends who go there. I go to GCC myself, but I've heard PCC's better in terms of avg student age cause GCC's filled with people over 40 attending non credit ESL classes and its really annoying and makes college less fun.
