How about we post something we created? Whether it be art, music, poetry, etc. Whatever you put your effort into making and working on. Feel free to share a picture of yourself as well

Nice work, OP! Did you use a reference?
>>22949152
Damn OP. If that really is you and your artwork, I'm in loveee. Wish we could be art buddies!
Heres a current work in progress of mine
>>22949760
Waw.
this is a 3x2 meter charcoal drawing that I colored in photoshop. Title is "I know that feel"
This is just about hanging out in my room. Reaction images give the mood, the drawing gives context
I laser cut a dragon head

I used to write books when I was a in year 7 and 8
Check them out, I can't guarantee you'll enjoy them, though, I was pretty stupid.

I've done heaps of life drawing. After lots of training I was not that bad, but Jeesus op, your work makes me jelly af. Really.
>>22949805
Awesome figure there. Dragon head looks good too.
>>22949892
my golden dream is to be able to play a drum kit, Alas I utterly lack music skills. i can not dance, and of course i can not even follow the simplest rythym with a couple of bongos. Very jelly, son.
Shitting up the thread with my animu.
I drew this one like a year ago.
>>22949968
>>22950210
And I have to say this is really, really awesome!

>>22950260
awesome technique. She is really there. You can depict weigth and motion. Also light behaviour over a non flat surface. Really gifted, Sir.
Not sure if this counts, but fuck it.
>>22950330
try better lighning, faggy
>>22950336

>>22949753
Same man. Is that acrylic? Or oil?
>>22950260

That's actually really well done m8. Did you do the singing yourself?
>>22950674
thanks fám
yeah everything you hear is me, i worked quite hard on it
>>22949843
Lots of great stuff in this thread, but poetry is my thing so I'll just comment on this for now.
I actually rather enjoy these. You seem to opt for shorter, more concise poems. Which is awesome, that's what I do and that's also my favorite stuff to read. I think there's a lot of beauty in saying a lot with a little, and not bolting down everything.
I really like redemption a lot.

Anyway I've been working on some music lately, but nothing really recorded/ready to be shared. But I write shitty poetry!

[Feel free to ignore the post 100mg PCP. There is a story behind that.]
>>22950736
Hehehe how was your trip?
>>22950819
Not bad at all! Unfortunately my tolerance for 3-MeO-PCP hasn't seemed to have decreased any after taking a tolerance break, and my tolerance towards other dissociatives have, so it was a bit annoying to figure out the dose. I ended up getting a little bit too fucked up. I generally write a lot on 3-MeO-PCP, which is why I tried to here, haha. But I was too fucked up and mostly what came out was gibberish.
There are a few pieces in there I like, and I think the whole thing is kind of interesting in itself, so I just decided to keep it and post it unedited, haha.
>>22950835
Nice man. I can't really write or draw when I'm fucked up. I take a lot of time on my art shit, but I can't do anything worthwhile drawing when I do something like shrooms or acid. I could probably do it on molly or ecstacy. Haha
>>22950850
damn dude that's really good; you should try drawing on amphetamines. i become like a musical genius when i'm speeding. idk if that would transfer to drawing tho
>>22950850
Ah I love to write on drugs. But, my style is also kind of rough/sloppy anyway. 3-MeO-PCP is the absolute best for it though. When I hit the dose just right, I literally will just sit in front of my computer and without even thinking about it, just type each word as it comes into my mind. So like I'll just write it as I go. I think the stuff I end up writing like that has a much more urgent feel to them, which I like.
I can understand not being able to do it though. I think it just depends on the person, how drugs affect them and how their creative process works.
>>22949152
I made a bowl for my sister a few years ago. She uses it to put her jewelry in now.
>>22950853
I did this one on adderall before. Went 7 straight hours. Adderall would probably be the best for me in terms of creativity. I'm a lightweight with weed or anything that gives me some kind of high.
This is my first modular origami piece that I have made. It is a peacock. I think it's probably considered papercraft though since I glued all the pieces together after my art teacher kept breaking it trying to move it to a display. ;___;.
>>22949152
Nice detail! I love the calf.
>>22949753
That's amazing, love her lips.
>>22949769
Brilliant, not even sure what to say about it but you executed it well.

>>22950907
Nice man. Sounds like shits going well for you. :)
>>22950873
Damn. How long did that take?
>>22950918
Thanks buddy :) Things are going fairly well. It's a really fun hobby. I really enjoy the editing aspect of things. I have a long way to go in getting my lighting a composition consistent. I'm having a hard time seeing ID's. I'm out at a pool right now and my screen sucks in the sunlight, but I'm excited to check out some of your stuff here shortly :)
>>22950943
Cool man. Have fun at the pool. Let me know what you think. :)
Watercolors :)
>>22950981
Nice work. How long you been doing watercolor
>>22950914
>>22950925
Thank you! Took approximately 3 weeks with consistent paper folding, cutting, and then modular unit folding for ~8 hours/day. The assembly took only around 1-2 hours the first time, however after it kept being broken I destroyed it and rebuilt it with glue. Glad I glued it though, it's still going strong half a year later. That was my Senior year art project :)
>>22950899
Nice photography and lovely people to photograph!

what kind of stone is that? I see no impurities or blemishes anywhere

Thank you! It was the first and only ceramic piece I've ever done. White glaze is scary to work with. So easy for other colors to bleed into it.

Good work. Plus there's no way I could know you were a girl. I tend to assume the majority of peeps on here are male. But I wouldnt mind being art buddies, silentartisan is my kik
>>22953268
Added you. :p
I just write stories and poetry, the poetry is too lame to share and the stories too long.
>Marker/Ink/Watercolors
>>22951629
Noice Anon.
Also my design models.
I can get into this, gotta decide what to show
>How about we post something we created.
>>22951080
Where does it say anything about being an artist and where did I claim to be one?
For /a/'s secret santa. Flash photography works really well with the plastic fairy lights!
i had painted the fur to actually look like fur, and then my laptop restarted, so i decided fuck it
Work in progress. Looking shitty af
>>22953776

Really cool, makes me slightly uncomfortable. Got any more things you've drawn on acid?
>>22959861
I remember when I was in the mental health ward at the hospital. A lot of people really liked coloring. Apparently, coloring is hugely therapeutic for different mental ailments.
Page I'm working on for a design class right now.
>>22950260

>>22950850
>>22949154
Great stuff man, and you're a handsome dude with a killer beard.
>>22960252
The background is intentionally blurred from the particular camera/lens settings, then the skin is softened/clarity is lowered to be able to hide fine lines and wrinkles.
>>22960286
Maybe I just prefer sharpness when it comes to portraiture. I understand the background, that's important if it's not your immediate subject (although it can still get too busy, not that yours is or anything). Anyway, keep on creating!

Thanks Anon, I like yours too.
I do but it has my real name unfortunately.
i take pictures sometimes but i'm not rly that good at it
>>22960259
Thank you sir or madam. I appreciate the compliment
HTC cameras are complete horseshit, so it's not doing it to much justice, but yeah.
Probably more of an idle hobby than something that's actually skillful. I usually get stuck working on a small piece of it for about 10-15 minutes at a time then put it back.
>>22960420
stop bastardizing graffiti with that toy garbage.
>>22962090
>toy
do u even write l o l
Working on this monstrosity right now.
made this when i was in high school
>>22962090
If there's one thing I've learned over the years about graffiti, it's that the only people that use the word toy are other toys.
>>22962734
How? I'd love to make something like this as a Christmas gift
