i've stopped talking to him plenty of times for blowing me off, but this time we had a really intimate conversation about our feelings and shit. and then he was really proactive and sentimental, hit me up all the time, sent me sweet bullshit (such as the mix above), was really cute and flirty, said he'd come see me etc. then...just stopped again. i asked him why he was acting so weird all of a sudden and he said "so are you" and he didn't respond when i asked him what he meant

he had a gf for a few months, he broke up w her in the last couple of months. and he told me he wouldn't let me come see him before (when i offered last year) because he would have felt bad, i asked why and he said "because i wouldn't have done that for you" but then he said he would come see me, he applied to a shit ton of internships here, and when he was applying for the company he wants to eventually work for, he sent me a snap of one of their app questions which was "why do you want to come to seattle"
see why i'm a little fucking confused here? i did think he was playing me in the past, that's why i stopped talking to him. then we started talking again and he was really open with me, and was actually acting towards me the way he always said he felt but never really showed since we moved apart.
