I am in a relationship with an anxious, emotional self-loathing mess of a broken childhood... and there is no one else I'd rather be with. I love every little bit of her - and even if someone is 'better', it doesn't have the same character, the same charm... The problem is that 'begging' rarely leads to good results. Sadly, It's often easiest to find new friends through the ones you have now; if you lack them, it can seem really desperate to others so they may take advantage instead... likewise, since me and my SO are both weebs, my current friends liked her easily and didn't have any weird prejudices of her from the get go, but she wouldn't have met them otherwise; being a dirty weeb to 'normal' people can really push them away regardless of one's positive traits... people only tend to look skin deep and see the most outward parts of others, idiotically.
