MBTI Rate thread.

Rate, discuss how awesome someone's personality is, ponder over why ENTP and INTPs will always be the best species on this planet.

Pic is me.

never seen this site before but pretty on par with my personality I thought. Other ENFJs?
>>
>>22914203
Yeah it was archived.
>>
>>22914174
Yeah being the best personality is difficult, makes it hard to connect with people who are clearly not as amazing as you.
>>
>>22914226

Never felt I was the best or amazing, I mostly feel that I'm somehow inferior to others.
>>
>>22914183
ayyy
i've only ever seen one or two other ISTPs on this website
>>
ESTP/ENTP

i actually get things done unlike you ENTPs who just talk about it
>>

Hi friend
>>
Literally never seen another ISFP on here wtf
>>
>>22914239
Yeah the truth is that MBTI doesn't mean shit but lets pretend that it does for now, so play along :D
>>
intj last time i took it. it's a totally inaccurate test, though. most people are just obsessed with labeling themselves.
>>
Ive taken 3 of these tests INTJ every time

I like personality tests
>>
>>22914439
Taken MBTI tests every now and then when I see them mentioned on the inretnets, since I came across them 8 years ago when I was 16. ENTP every time. I guess I haven't changed all that much.
>>
>>22914595
I took my first when I was 14 5 years ago, found a new one 3 years later and took them both again, then I just found this one a couple of days ago and took them all again

I have gotten different percents but it still gives me the same result
>>

INTP is hard if you make it hard. Our vast superiority makes us prone to nihilism and depression. Just gotta find that thing to give you purpose.
>>
I'm INTP and I fucking love my life. Damn shame i cant find any INTPs/ENTPs out there in the real world.

INTPs are social chameleons. We're rare, and we're hard to spot.

While the producers of the show regularly add things to make it more exciting.
Bear Grylls is a survival expert with probably more hours in the wilderness in one setting than you have had in your entire life combined.

I mean, it's like astrology, all the explanations are positive and generic enough that you can essentially agree that "yeah, I'm this awesome."

The only thing I didn't agree with was that "I don't finish projects on time, even the ones that I really want to do." The questions didn't really account for that latter part, I'm shit at doing stuff that doesn't motivate me but once I'm motivated I'm the most dedicated person you'll find.

Would you kindly tell me some of your interests? I want to mix and match shit. For science.
>>
>>22915701
Lets see.
Lifting, Cooking (I like to get wild), Guns (shooting them, talking about them, i hate cleaning them), History and world politics, airsoft/paintball, video games (mostly strategy and RPG), tabletop games (i hate painting my minis)

That's a shortlist, if you want anything specific just say so.
>>
>>22915701
Vidya is the big one. Obviously just debating and thinking about things (ideas, strategy, abstract concepts) in general since I'm a DebaterTM. You should see my Reddit account's comment history, people would think I'm retarded for spending as much time as I do debating all the stupid shit I do, but it's fun for me, enjoyable.

Learning, reading about anything and everything. I have a customized Reddit frontpage (i.e. no defaults) that is basically just peppered with new information, /r/geostrategy, /r/askhistorians, /r/science, /r/futurology etc. I can just scroll and scroll and scroll and read and learn forever.

Honestly that's about it, I get my entertainment from music (which I listen to every waking hour when I don't need my ears for say, a movie), series, movies and singleplayer games.

I also get a lot of my social life from games, I consider multiplayer gaming a pretty engaging social experience even though I can't see people's faces. I drink alcohol and do the basic bitch thing too, just go to pubs, hang out, get drunk and do stupid shit like everyone else. Doesn't really count as an interest, more as a mechanism for the social experience.

I'd like to branch out and get into rock climbing and stuff like that but... so little time, so many books that need to be read for uni.

I'm INFJ-T. Is that good? Also, what does the "-letter" mean?
>>
>>22915872
The letter stands for whether you're assertive or turbulent. There is no good or bad personality, there's bad mixes and such but it's just another way of thinking.

are there any personality types that have a negative connotation? is my personality type lame?
>>
>>22916016
They're all worded so as to be awesome. So it comes down to what you subjectively believe are positive traits, or to what objective measurements are asking for (like say, a certain person is asking for someone who can do X, a certain type ought to be more inclined towards doing X.)

I personally think that T > F and that P > J. P to me represents adaptability while J represents a more rigid approach. Meanwhile you could just as well say that P = unorganized and ineffective and J = structured, planned and well-executed.

hey iM an ISFP
>>
>>22916053
so basically ive got a pretty shit personality type to u lol
>>
>>22916175

I try to be the person I want to be and I believe I succeed most of the time. So in a way, yeah, what you are is not what my ideal is.

At the same time, who's to say that I wouldn't say, love who you are and your personality. Maybe your ability to organize and plan (J over P) would complement my on the fly adaptability perfectly.

Maybe your ability to value people's subjective view (F over T) would complement my tendency to try to steamroll over subjective opinions and go straight to the absolute end of objectivity.

It's like saying that a screwdriver is shit because you need a hammer.
>>
>>22916236
oh well when u explain it that way it makes a lot more sense
>>
Apparently this is rare?
>>
>>22916279
Yeah and honestly, it's nothing you'll want to put any weight on anyways. If you think that like 20-100 questions (depending on what tests you take) can summarize all the facets of a personality you've got bigger problems than your MBTI score anyways, people are a lot more complex than these tests tell them :D

>21/m/US
>INFP
>semi-NEET
>tfw I don't really like music/books/film/art/etc made by INFPs except Regina Spektor (my waifu), Thom Yorke, George Orwell and Louis C.K.
Bjork, Ian Curtis, Curt Kobayne, guy from The Cure, Jim Morrison, Fiona Apple, John Lennon, Morrissey, John Mayer, Matt Bellamy, that redhead Florence with her Machine, David Lynch, Andy Warhol, that neckbeard who wrote Game of Thrones, Shakespeare, that artist who cut off his ear, fucking depressed af Poe, depressed af Virginia Woolf, weird af Kafka, christian ass CS Lewis, weirdo Camus, Marlon Brando, Frodo fucking Baggins. Idk, most of these people just seem narcissistic to me, which means I should probably kill myself. Then again, their quotes seem pretty in line with my values, like how I'd rather view every person complexly than with some dumb label. I think I'm attracted to ISFPs, INFJs (Henry Rollins, John Frusciante, my best friend) and INTPs, but who the hell knows.
>>
What a shitty list. No one significant, just a bunch of musicians, actors and directors.

>that neckbeard who wrote Game of Thrones

Ah nvm, nice personality dude.
>>
>>22919852
Well, do authors count? I listed quite a few, as well as a couple of visual artists. Also, I saw Homer, Kierkegaard and Jean Jacques Russeau but I don't have any opinions on them. I left a lot of people out for the same reason.

Please, anon, answer me. I need your validation.
>>

I've seen a few of us.
>>
>>22914124
I've gotten ENTP every single time, even when I've redone the test and it feels like I've answered differently because I've changed as a person... I do relate to most ENTP traits quite a bit though, so I guess I really am ENTP!

ENTP is like INTP without the autism.
