Never used oils because I'm Italian and my skin is enough oily as it is. I usually apply shampoo and conditioner when I shower as I do with my hairs.

Oils really do help make your beard look healthy and keep those hairs that want to stick straight out in check. They make your beard softer too, which females tend to like. Conditioner works fine on shorter beards, but I find the oil to be a huge help for keeping a longer beard looking well groomed

The trick of facial hair is to TRIM IT instead of shaving it, so all your hairs are the same length. Some grow slower than others, others fall and need some time to catch up...
btw facial hair is HOT. Well, any kind of hair. And also healthy.
My first time growing out my beard. Wish I had a bit more density on my cheeks but I like it and a lot of friends, coworkers and customers say it looks good on me. Still figuring out how to groom it properly though

Well, being a hipster I have cut my beard and have a four day stubble. Because of peak beard and all.
But it's still nice.
One problem I had though is that my bead is pretty curly, so it didn't look as nice and ordered as someone with straight hair beard. I should probably have used some products, but oh well.
