I've only ever beein in love with and felt loved by one person including my family, and I can tell you that it's amazing.
It's kind of like being able to see yourself through the eyes of someone who sees you as someone amazing, not just some shitty average dude, and it makes you appreciate yourself. It's nice to have someone you can trust and be vulnerable in front of. Those are when you get the most important glimpses of yourself through the eyes of another, and the times when you grow the most as a person, and you grow closer together as a couple.
I kind of don't want to form the thick callous around myself that's necessary to have sex and not have strong emotions for the other person. Sex when you're in love feels just so amazingly intimate that I can't imagine doing it with someone I didn't love. I've never had sex with someone I didn't love before though, so I guess I have nothing to compare it to.

I too haven`t experienced love and am trying to avoid it at all costs because if you look at women these days (i assume you are male like myself) love is literally not worth it. If you poke around google & look up what are the goals of feminism, you`ll understand.
Made me realize how much of an asshole I am, how much of an asshole women can be, how selfless and nice both men and women can be, and gave me perspective on why guys here pretend all women are evil and men are saints. Easier to blame your mistakes and shortcomings on others.

Really depends on the situation. Mutual love is actually rare, and most won't have it (even married couples).
Being loved and not loving the person back is awkward and hurtful. Unrequited love is more painful than almost anything.

It feels amazing, better than anything Ive ever felt. When it goes bad it makes you feel worse than you can imagine. Almost to the point that it's not worth messing with again.
