I've never worked a black friday in retail. I did security one year for Black Friday as a security guard in a Diesel Jean store. I had to stand outside controlling the, no joke, velvet rope because we had to control how many people came and went from the store.

I'm 6'1. By the end of the day there was a pile of denim taller than me.

I watched an employee vainly trying to fold jeans, have that pair of jeans yanked off their folding table, size checked, then tossed over shoulder.

The look in that employee's eyes was truly murderous.

I do all the cooking, and this year it's pie (pumpkin, Apple, and pecan), salad, turkey, mashed potatoes, twice baked sweet potatoes, green bean bake, cranberry+orange relish, two kinds of stuffing, Mac n cheese, rolls, and two kinds of gravy

I dunno how much I'll actually eat though. I hate gravy and turkey. can't fucking fathom why anyone enjoys the green bean bake
