>>
>>22831871
I was asking if i'm too plump at 135 and if it would be better to lose back down to 130
>>
>>22831822
130-135lbs when you're 5'10 is beyond negligible. That's one thing to definitely start remembering now if you ever want to get over your eating disorder. You honestly weren't that bad at 190, and you'd even be fine at 140-150.

If nothing else, stop counting pounds and calories and look into what you're eating and how you exercise. The existence of your thigh gap proves you're not "plump"

This is a somewhat old but still current picture of my body. The only time I've ever really seen results of a weight loss is unhealthy. I hate that. I don't want to do unhealthy things to appear healthy looking. What I did before was eat whole grain popcorn. Like that's all I ate. I lost about 40 lbs. from that. I'm almost always working myself to the point of physical exhaustion at work. It has nothing to do with my weight or anything (slim/fit coworkers have complained to me about this, too.) I'm just trying to figure out a way that I can (safely) lose weight. Or even gain muscle/tone (which I slowly am now that I think about it.) I'd honestly just love to see what my body would actually look like.
>>
>>22832562
It sounds to me like you should see a doctor, m8. If you constantly feel tired and you can't lose any fat, you probably have a bad health problem.
>>
>>22832580
I feel tired because I'll work 1-11 PM one day and then 7-5:30 the next day lol. I'm tired because my boss makes shut schedules, not just because I'm tired.
>>
>>22832590
You can lose weight in a healthy fashion. My advice after losing weight kind of radically is just to pay more attention to your workouts and developing a healthy lifestyle, and trying to eat nutritious natural foods like green vegetables and fruit, than you should actually worry about cutting calories.

I was cutting calories but the great majority of my weight loss was just because I was riding a bike every night. It's pretty simple that unless you have a serious thyroid problem or something or you're retaining massive amounts of water from organ failure, (lol) your body will reflect your lifestyle.
>>
>>22824587

Sweet christmas... potato quality picture, but still. Fucking incredible body! Congratulations on losing that much, it's insane.

>>22832562

Some people don't want to talk about any of this shit, especially people in /fit/ but a lot of muscle tone and crap depends on your body itself. Some people just cannot gain tone, or they can, but it doesn't show.

It looks like you've already lost a lot of weight, and that you've lost it quite quickly because of the way the skin is loose around your belly. I'm not sure what would honestly help with that. I can see the potential, just with the way the body is shaped I guess... but I'd try to focus on core-tone exercise. From what I've been told the best thing you could possibly do is try and use those core muscles, apparently they atrophy at an almost comically fast rate, so even if you're losing weight, unless they're getting used constantly (and in the right way) they just loosen up.

That's what's happening to me. I've lost almost 25lbs since January and I still look like I've got a beer gut, but it's all because I cannot stay consistent with my core muscles. (I don't drink beer.)

Also, Pic is me as of today. Started the year at 245, down to 218. I'd like to hit 200, or 190. No time (or pressure) to hit the gym so it's just coming off from a dietary shift, battling severe depression, stopping a compulsive eating habit, and walking all day long for work.
>>
>>22832694
Well as you know, you're losing more weight than what is visible. There's actually fat to be burned off underneath your muscles in your abdominal cavity and there are things to consider like organ weight, water, and muscle that will change too.

That's why it's a bit sad when people get excited by rapid weight loss but it's more damaging to their bodies than anything. You see people on reddit's body transformations page who have lost 30 lbs and they barely look different if at all, and there are people who lost 5 lbs and they look drastically better.

People throw themselves into this pit of hating themselves where they focus on the wrong thing, and they disregard fitness and just want to be thinner. Then you have people whittling themselves down to a flabby weird skinnyfat or skeleton, yo-yo-ing, or both. So it's very important to burn off the fat but there is definitely always a right way and a wrong way to do it.

Yeah my body seems wider because of my hips and the certain clothes I wear with it.
>>
>>22831579
height + weight in pic on the left?
>>
>>22832728

I know, that's why I'm glad that it's slowly coming off. I didn't plummet off a cliff of weightloss and drop everything in a few months. This is just my own metabolism equalizing out and bringing itself back to what it should be. Not the depressed, all consuming (and consuming everything), psychosis that I was for a while.

It does feel better, and having finally looked at that side profile picture it seems as though a lot of my visual issue has to do with my posture (which is admittedly horrible.)

>>22832747

Please! Don't think I said it looked bad. I see potential and hope that you keep going at a healthy way. It's awesome to be able to lose weight, and feel good about it. I know all about the boss making shitty schedules too. I'm in school from 8:30 to 4:00 on Thursdays. What does he do? Schedule me 4:30 to 10 every thursday because he's a fucking idiot.

Oh. Then I'll open at 8 on Fridays sometimes. I know how it goes, and it's exhausting and kills any kind of desire to eat correctly. Because then, all you want to do is eat something quick and relax.
>>
>>22832562
Are you that fat dyke?
>>
>>22832789
Right! I worked until 1:30 AM the other day and didn't get a meal even though I worked 9 hours and I just went to bed. Even though I was hungry I was even more tired.
>>
>>22832809

Which sucks ass, because if that happens regularly the body goes into panic mode and refuses to burn fat off because it thinks food's going to become scarce.

The human body sucks.
>>
>>22832009
Keep it the fuck up anon. You look fantastic, and I bet you can feel the results. At the rate you're going at, it might feel like a long way, but even as someone who doesn't even know you, I am confident you're making great progress based upon those photos.

>>
>>22833568
Thanks. yeah ~140lbs was when i last had actual tits haha. I lost my period though so they shrank further and I doubt i'd get them back before i fix that
>>
>>22833606

Lost? How does one "lose" a period?
>>
>>22833521
Nope
>>
>>22833623
Starving for a prolonged period of time. Also I dipped under ~18% BF, my doctor claims despite not going into the underweight category it's different for everyone. As far as I know body fat is related to the production of estrogen. Low fat -> low estrogen -> no period, infertile, tits shrink, risk of osteoporosis increases
>>
>>22833645

Ah, same thing that happens to crazy-as-fuck gymnasts. It just turns off from too much exercise and not enough food. I getcha. Same can happen to anorexics and bulimics I've heard.

And if you've dropped down under 18% BF it sounds like you may have been in one of those last two categories?
>>
>>22833680
Actually, a lot, if not the majority of bulimics are at a healthy weight or slightly overweight. Vomiting up your food really doesn't help if you eat 10k+ calories....

I was diagnosed with EDNOS - Eating disorder not otherwise specified. They wanted to do anorexia but i was 8lbs "short" - not underweight enough to fit the criteria.
>>
>>22832009
Keep going anon, but don't over-do it, as a little curvy is not a bad thing. Good luck.
>>
>>22833706

Sigh. As someone on the opposite end of that spectrum that's bullshit, and frustrating. I had a compulsive eating disorder, I don't know exactly how much I was packing away in a day but I know that in a single meal I could easily eat 20+ oz out chicken strips by myself.

Those bags of Tyson's Anytisers you see in the frozen shitty-food section at the grocery store? I'd get one of those, kill the whole bag. Did this, anywhere between two and four times a week and I blew up like a fucking balloon.
>>
>>22833706
>>22833914

Sorry, didn't quite explain properly Not the disorder, but the fact that they wouldn't call it something because you were just a few pounds over weight to call it what it is.
>>
>>22833914
Oh, I used to be the same. See my HW photo? Back then i would demolish 5 doughnuts for breakfast, and a family sized pack of crisps + 2 frozen pizzas + 1 or 2 full size sharing chocolate bars for dinner + a minimum of 2L of full sugar fizz a day. Nightmare. Then a switch flipped and here I am.

>>
>>22833929

Same, switch flipped and it's melting off. Mine was depression based. My (now ex) wife was making my life hell and I was trying anything at all to compensate.

Food was an escape, I'm still healthy, but I got lucky.
>>
Britfag here, recently put on weight which is odd because my metabolism usually works in my favor, really unhappy with myself, i have 0 clue where to start with exercise and stuff, any good advice? Poor too so buying shit to jog in isn't really an option right now.

Can post current pic if need be.
>>
>>22833992
I feel you, anon. I was struggling with depression and anxiety when i started overeating like that. I decided to start exercising and lose a few pounds as a way to fix my depression without therapy and medication but got myself in a bigger mess. I did ignore some major red flags about my eating that might have helped me stay away from trouble so it's all my fault.

I'm glad you're healthy and getting yourself out of that vicious cycle anon. If I have to be honest your current body type is exactly what i look for in a guy, i think you look very sexy right now.

>>22833998
I really like FitnessBlender on Youtube. They kept me from being skinnyfat and helped actually change my proportions.
>>
>>22834030

Aw, thanks. Going to make me blush.

I'd prefer to get into a gym and get a bit more /fit/. I'll be honest. I like being able to carry the weight across my body evenly and I don't want to be ripped, or even FIT. I just want a little definition in the core, and I REALLY want my moobs gone.
>>
>>22834049
Core definition is the toughest. I had very defined legs and arms at lowest (was doing low carb too, so looked a lot leaner) and couldn't get any abs to show. I do have a bit of loose skin on my belly though so that might be a factor. I could see them only when i would lie down and flex. Still something haha Good luck though! Just make sure to take your time to avoid loose skin. I have the feeling that if i hadn't dropped 10lbs per month I wouldve managed to prevent that problem
>>
>>22834030
I've seen a couple before, a lot of them require weights and stuff which i dont have/cant afford. Theres a local swimming pool though, may take up swimming and the gym when i get money.
>>

Maybe not even full definition. Just no more gut. I'm already going really slow. Right now it's just my body's natural burn taking over. Since January it's only been just over 20 lbs, so once I do get serious about toning anything (Read as, after college graduation and a move to a whole 'nother state) I might have a shot.
>>
>>22834124
Natural burn is totally the best. I remember how everytime i would manage to end a depression episode and just start eating normally all the extra would melt right off without me even trying. *sigh* good times.
That's seriously the best way to lose. No forcing yourself. You're very reasonable, good work

Heh, I'm probably a bit older than you are so "melting" is not happening. Hehe, but I get what you mean anyway.

You're doing excellently as well, and I hope that you continue on the path to being healthy about your weight loss. You're looking good now, I think you could be 135, 140 and look just spot on perfect.

I'm 6'2" (188 cm) 245 lbs. (111 kg.) and on the right, I'm still 6'2", but I'm down to 205 lbs. (93 kg).

Lemme know if you have any other questions :)

There's always the counter-intuitive solution:

Bench press plus butterfly chest compressions. Build the pectorals, then gain a bit of healthy fat on your breasts.
>>
>>22836698
Thanks for the advice. Pectorals are actually alright, I can't afford a gym but I work out at home a lot. To be honest at my LW it actually looked quite gross when i would flex because you could see a lot of defined muscle on my chest with two empty skin pouches with nipples hanging. I probably really should gain back some of the weight. I found old pics of me at 140lbs and realised i forgot what it's like to have boobs. Pic related

Correction, that's around 150lbs

Wow, awesome transformation!
Im you on the left right now - 6'1 and 247lbs. How did you do it? Diet and exercise routine? Also, how long did this take?

I've been losing weight since about April. I was between 240 and 250lbs. Currently I weight between 180 and 190lbs.

The before picture is from last summer. Not entirely sure what my weight was then.

Will follow up with after picture

Thanks a bunch, kind anon. I definitely can feel a huge difference. I've been really overweight since I was a child and I feel better than I did even when I was eight or nine already.

Thank you as well!
Don't worry, I like my hips too much to end up a super petite little lady...I think. I'm really not sure where I want to be yet, so I suppose I'll just find out as I go and my body changes.

You should go back to 140/150, get those boobs back....maybe focus on legs and core after gaining weight back....it's hard for women to be skinny without loosing no their breasts...total bummer.

I fantasize about having a guy take me to the gym. I'm a scrawny girl and a little embarrassed of my weakness.
I want him to teach me proper squat form and how I should be eating. I want him to mold me into a beautiful and functional woman. I'll be someone who can hike and bike and lift heavy things.
Sure I like being little as much as the next girl. But I want to be little and capable. It's humiliating to be huffing and puffing from just jogging up to the buss stop.

Brb gonna do 15 bodyweight squats and 15 pushups (with my knees on the ground OTL)

Deadlifts and overhead presses.
>>
>>22844125
How come?
>>
>>22825772
Never had you down for a former fatty, you look like you've always been beautifully thin
>>
>>22844135
Pick things up off the ground and lift them overhead. Add farmer's walks (carrying heavy things) and it doesn't get more functional and capable than that. A very simple routine that would be all she, specifically, really need for her wants.
>>
>>22844155
Sorry, I'm on mobile and my ID is changing. I'm the same girl.

I really enjoy deadlifting! Well, a fakey kind. Maybe closer to a "farmer deadlift", if I'm catching your terminology correctly. I lift heavy bags at work (~40-60lbs) and I looked up deadlift form so I wouldn't break myself. It's very satisfying! And definitely useful.

Why overhead presses though? That's not a motion I run into a lot. Where does it up your strength in your body?

I'll definitely look into farmer walks.
>>
>>22844187
It will build your upper body strength. You may not run into the specific form in day to day life but it'll balance only lower body work.
>>
>>22844187
Do you go to a gym?

Good job.

The pictures span from December 2013 to August 2015. I worked out 3-5 times a week. I would lift weights then follow up with cardio. When I lifted, I would base my workouts on compound movements. Roughly, I would break my workouts into push, pull, and legs. I'd do 2 or 3 push or pull exercises supplemented by 1 or 2 isolation exercises for those muscle groups. Then for my cardio, I would do interval training. I would jog for a minute, walk for a minute. Jog, walk, jog walk. I did that for 30 to 45 minutes. Then for my diet I cut out bread and replaced bread for high fiber/high protein tortilla wraps. Also, I became a master at stir fries.

Hope this helps :)

Hottie! That's a really cute bathing suit in the first picture too :)
