Amphetamine crash isn't that bad. You just need to sleep it off (if you really can't sleep, melatonin or diphenhydramine can help and should be available) and you'll wake up feeling good as new. Speed is pretty fun if you have something to do while you're high actually.

People who are forced to commit illegal acts under duress have special exceptions. Often times those who are arrested for participation in the drug trade is because they're directly involved and deserve to be arrested.

Yes, there are innocents who face consequences of the actions of those around them who commit crimes. But many times money is the only thing those "innocent truck drivers" need. Committing a crime is committing a crime, not everyone has a gun held to their head.
Also just because you believe Marijuana is the greatest thing in the whole entire world doesn't mean you can't just break the law in a certain area with possession/distribution/consumption just because "it's legal like, in California, man, and like, I totally had a card man". If you are breaking the law, you are breaking the law. I don't care how asinine or pointless you think it is. All lawbreakers deserve some sort of consequences for their actions. Until the law is repealed or non-applicable, you are required to follow it. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, regardless of whether you like it or not.

Fuck what the law says. Laws are liquid and change over time. It's morally impermissible to steal years from someone's life because they are involved in the drug trade. Plenty of countries have asinine and draconian laws that are far worse than drug crimes. Do you really justify these things by saying, "well hurr durr, you should have respected the authority!" Do you think that SS guards were justified in their actions because some dickfuck wrote it in a book? Charge them with violent and financial crimes, sure, but drugs aren't evil. Even if they were, prohibition makes things worse.

I just simply feel that the druglords are more ethically deplorable than DEA agents, thus I am choosing my side wisely. Your whole charade of thinking this is good vs. evil and 'saving the children' is what perpetuates this bullshit. A regulated US market and erosion of neoliberal ideology would solve the entire drug crisis. Kids wouldn't be able to get drugs (as easily). Cartels and manufacturers wouldn't have a significant sources of income and would lose to large-scale capitalism. Junkies would stop going to street corners to cop dope and domestic gang influence would fall. Addicts would be able to readily access help.

The majority of drug users are NOT addicts and do NOT commit other crimes to facilitate their use. They just get high to enjoy their time as like any other permissible pleasure such as drinking alcohol or watching TV.
You think (or at least uphold the values of the system) that these people deserve fines, possible imprisonment (and the associated costs of being a felon), and criminal records by wanting to be an enforcer of these laws.
