Embrace your frames! I think they definitely add the personality. Funny thing is, I hate my face without my glasses. I'll wear contacts for cosplay and I used to for golf and volleyball, but I feel my face looks so fat without the frames to help balance it out. :/

Haha I try... My eyesight isn't even that bad, but I have no depth perception since one eye is nearsighted and the other is far sighted. So I don't always wear them, but most of the day I do.

I've done a Lutece Twin cosplay from Bioshock Infinite, Genis Sage from Tales of Symphonia, general steampunk getups, fauns, and I work with big helmets, so it's hard to wear glasses underneath/ if anything smudges or moves, I can't do shit...thus it's better to just do contacts.
I'm known for my SteamMau5 getup in the Vancouver area for Labor Day conventions though. Pic related

I've done couple's cosplays, and I usually go to cons with people, but I could handle doing it by myself. With the SteamMau5, I tend to get stopped A LOT so I hate having my friends stop and wait for me, so I usually tell them to go on without me and I'll eventually catch up.
I'm not too social either, but seeing everyone else in costume really helps loosen you up

Ooh yeah. If it's not Steampunk Deadmau5, it's Mickey mouse for the kids or Kingdom Hearts mau5 for everyone else. It's all good! I'll let the little kids hold the key or wear my top hat for photos..usually makes them go crazy with excitement and it's so nice to see people really happy. Any interactive piece is a bonus for parents
