I've only been exposed to Grays Harbor CC by interactions with folks that have attended and from long ago high school debate tournaments there....think it's actually one of the finer features of the town. On the plus side, Aberdeen places you about 25 minutes from nice ocean beaches and well on the way to the wonders of Olympic National Park, which is freaking awesome. Farther on up the coast (north) there are still small places to camp or hunker down in a relatively cheap sleazy motel while the winter winds howl, the waves crash and the rain smashes against your windows all night long....good if you value nature in the raw and a good single malt scotch...
