Honestly, if you're going to do that, it may as well include "sugar babies" that are rude and entitled cunts. I stopped posting here because every other girl that messaged me demanded money or a payment plan 15 minutes into a decrepit conversation.

Absolutely. I don't really think it's that they're trying to exploit guys here or anything -- though some of them are definitely trying to take advantage of the pretty overwhelming amount of betas here -- but the mental immaturity is pretty unsettling. The last 2 girls that contacted me from a post in a thread like this were both from about... 2 months ago? One asked me up front what kind of money I would be giving her, and when I told her that was entirely dependent on how well we got along and how much I liked them, she blocked me. The other was sending emails to me through a throwaway, and before even asking my name wanted to figure out how much I'd be giving here.
Respect in these types of situations, especially when we're doing this on 4chan (especially especially especially on /soc/ of all places), is necessary, and people seem to forget respect is a two-way street. A good majority of the people I see posting in these threads would do well to learn that. If not, they're a waste of time.

Well, that wasn't my only experience with these threads. I've posted in these since they were effectively merged with the DDLG threads.
It's just absolutely silly to assume all of the "bad" posters/lurkers are all guys, and it's why these threads always fail. There are a lot of bad guys and girls here, and until you stop generalizing and people work to make the threads better, they won't get better.
You don't need to apologize for my experiences. I've posted in these threads fully knowing where I'm posting and what to expect. It's par for the course, if you will. If you hadn't noticed, these threads are never exactly booming. If anything, by starting a discussion on the quality of these threads -- for the hopeful improvement of them -- the thread is more active right now than it would've been.
