Note: DO NOT victimize yourself by claiming to have a disorder based off of a few symptoms and without professional opinion. Its okay to feel sadness or anxiety, these are human experiences and wanting to discuss them is welcomed here. It is NOT okay to assume anxiety equates to severe anxiety disorder, or sadness to major depression as these are serious mental health issues that people live with. Have respect for the idea of mental illness, and hopefully together we can eliminate the stigma attached to it by taking it and it's sufferers seriously.

you should remove 7cups, it is a truly toxic site that plays on peoples mental problems and make people addicted to the site.
it is designed to keep them forever in a loop and forever members, because as long as the site grows, the owners pockets become heavier with coin.
you can meet decent people there ofc, as you can all places, but those are the exceptions, the ones not conforming to the site's poison.
seriously, please remove that dangerous site if you are serious about this thread, and for people who visit: watch out, you will get sucked in before you know it, its like an abusive relationship.

I work at a house full of addicts trying to get better. I'm currently in school for my ladc. I play a ton of videogames (destiny cause I have bad taste) but my favorite hobby is trying to make myself miserable. My favorite band is either la dispute or arrogant sons of bitches. I don't watch movies much anymore as anime and videogames make my mouth taste better, at least for a little while.

Bipolar disorder and alcoholism/addiction issues both in "remission" as my old psych liked to say.
I don't really have "trouble" lately I just like to come back to 4chan every once in awhile to tell people I exist. My schedule is always busy and I feel like I don't sometimes. I just wanna stay home for like 3weeks straight and do nothing but eat and play videogames and fap.

Well it's a site I've heard many others enjoy. I'm sorry about your personal experiences and I do see where you're coming from. Any similar site or resource will be what you take from it though, and I'd hate to remove a site that might have the capacity to help someone, based off of one bad experience. It is not my bad experience, it is the design on the site.
people will tell you that it was good for them because they in their weakened state actually think it is, the site is designed to keep you there forever, never getting better, just getting back to the site. It is about as much help as addictive drugs, they might make you feel better but they did nothing for your problem and your dealer did not try to help you, he tried to make money on you, just like 7cups.
If you speak out or actually try to give legit help you risk getting banned for policy breach.
The community have in turn become toxic, it is worse than tumblr.
the few good listeners felt pressured to leave, I have spoken to several previous ones, as a result of toxic culture.
There are also a lot of sexual undertones there, going both ways.
No place for weak minded people.

I'm not disagreeing with you or defending the site in any way. I'm not promoting or claiming that it is a sure fire thing. So far you are the first to address these concerns regarding the site. I do take what you're saying seriously and believe me when I say you've definitely given me something to think about. But the site is going to stay listed under resources for the time being because I have heard more positive feedback from people looking for someone to talk to and who have found temporary help on that site, than people with bad experiences. So again, thank you for bringing this up and I will look into it. But in the meantime, can you provide a site or resource that you feel would be more helpful than 7cups?
