Recreating the Big Bang with a quantum computer.
So /sci/ I'm not super tech savvy nor do I know a whole lot about computer science but I've been doing a lot of research on quantum computing and am wondering why there hasn't been an attempt yet to "recreate" the Big Bang with on of the new D-Wave 500QB computers.
From my understanding 500QB (or even the new 1000QB) computers are powerful enough to store more information then there are atoms in the universe. If this is true, then why not create a program that contains all the laws of quantum...

Reminder that math is really applied philosophy. Mathematicians are technically "philosophical engineers." All mathematicians do is plug things in and design logical systems according to axioms.
Why don't you switch to the major that actually requires original and creative thought, where you get to make the rules?

Alright so I recently eared that in SOME instances DARKNESS can go faster than light.

No, but there are some instances where the speed of heavy is faster than the speed of light. Such as when going downhill.
If by darkness you mean empty space then yes empty space expands faster than the speed of light.

How do you deal with cold logic /sci/? I love engineering because of the creativity and personal touch involved, but for me math and science seems too impersonal. It seems that it heavily relies on some brain functions that can be named IQ. That is no artistry involved and the leap of genius is something impersonal that could be done by someone else in another time.

well engineering is a bit "artsy" and it does give a lot of freedom because you're dealing with matter and materials, but to make leaps in mathematics requires far more creativity than great mathematicians are ever credited with.
What are the best online/youtube courses out there for learning C++? Reddit seems to be of the opinion that you can't learn C++ on an online course, and the consensus I got was that the only way to learn it is from some thousand page reference book with very small print that goes into so much depth that it takes any joy out of programming.

How do you study/memorize quickly?
This is a big dilemma in my life.
I'd like to have a system which allows me to remember anything I want to remember on command. I've delved into mnemonics and memory palaces and have only used them for things like remembering numbers.
Tell me your secrets.
i have poor memory for specifics, so i learn to derive everything in language from basic principles
languages like english are difficult because, unlike german or mathematics, just mashing together basic ideas doesn't lead to a coherent object
