What caused Bowie to get so sick? I doubt this was one of those cases where someone just gets heart attacks and cancer. I'm guessing this is a good example of why you shouldn't do hard drugs like cocaine. Liver cancer though? That's usually caused by alcohol, right?
Most of these artists especially when they're young do drugs which over time trashes their systems. In later years they open doors for sneak attacks like heart or organ failures. I'm not sure if he did too much alcohol but even a small substance might have triggered it and caused a failure because the organs are damaged way too much. Instantenous death without showing obvious symptoms is usually caused by prior drug abuse that left the organs defenseless.
It's all genetics coupled with your environment.
Hepatitis B and C, with or without cirrhosis, is a strong risk factor for developing liver cancer. Perhaps he had contracted one of these infections from drug use.
Why the fuck is everyone so afraid of fractions? I simply do not get it. I am a masters student in mathematics and when I TA about 90% of the students will first write a problem down and then change any fraction to a decimal. What in the fuck? Why would you waste your time doing that, especially when you're not allowed a calculator on tests? WHY? Most of them will only write 1-2 decimal points too, so they have an answer which is slightly off due to round off answers.
When I ask them why they do this they don't really have an answer. I just do not understand....

From past experience, which is easier to score, SAT or ACT. I feel it's the SAT, cause high IQs like me can just take it fresh, without any prior knowledge unlike the ACT. But this is just my opinion, what do you guys think? Not sure if GRE is like SAT though.

I tried doing 3^(x) + 3^(log3(4)*x) =25
then substituting y=3^x
Y+Y^(log3(4)) - 25 = 0
In that case you would have a "polynomial of n degree with n being non-integer, if you look up online there are some methods that allow you to calculate the number of roots and maybe a method to calculate them that I don't know of
if looking for a approximate solution you could just apply a root-finding algorithm for the last equation with two reasonable approximations of Ya and Yb, values in which the root will be encountered

I'm trying to figure a way to represent complex human intuition using a mathematical structure, but some parts of natural language don't really fit in any obvious ways that I can find. Language itself isn't the problem here; it has a grammar and discrete structure that's easy enough to model, but certain words and phrases are hard to represent mathematically.
