How much science do think we'll get?
https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/juno/main/index.html
more "salt" deposits, that they then suddenly never talk about again
I'm really hoping the camera spots something interesting in the clouds. I find the whole cloud planet thing very romantic.
It's a pity it's basically impossible to build some sort of probe that could go down and film in the atmosphere. Even Juno's camera can only be used for short periods before the radiation fucks it over.

Ive always been sort of afraid of jupiter. Thats my contribution to the thread, carry on.

Wormholes and zero point vacuum energy.

legit penis enlargement. no respectable scientist/doctor will go near the problem, even though there is a shitload of money to be made.
Suppose you have $1bn and you *have* to invest it in one scientific effort; what would you choose?

How to made a homemade nuke?
Your CPU actually contains enough uranium to cause a nuclear explosion. Microsoft includes a program called "system32" that prevents it from blowing up, so all you have to do is delete it.
Wrap a battery covered with aluminium sheet to give it a current pumped with argon gas, and put it in a microwave. You won't believe what happens ;)

So how do avocados still exist? There haven't been any land animals alive for millions of years that would be able to eat the avocado whole and shit out the seed to plant more.
humans breed them you tard

But how long have we been planting them, like a few thousand years?
to compliment the avocado number.

I want to have a deeper understanding of the female mind.
I'm mostly a rational person and I just want to understand a mind that is centered around feelings and emotions.
Will reading evolutionary psychology help me in this goal?

I already implied I don't want to talk about pepes.
I doubt it, this is not a relationship board go ask /adv/ or whine at /r9k/

Hi guys. Next year I will start studying physics at university. So far my choice was only based on my personnal preference, but now I am wondering, how much does a physicist earn with a master for example?
I think working in an industry is much more cost effective than researching, but let's face it, computational programmation wins hands down in terms of industrial possibilities, unless /sci/ knows something about it that I don't...
Please tell me I could still earn more than average money :)
>>8184663
You'll earn as much as a person in a field earns. Degrees don't get you money, they get you an entrance pass to certain fields and it just so happens that some fields are wealthier than others.
Guide yourself with this:

It is for PhDs so I would chop down at least 30% of the figures. For example, it says PhDs in government earn 100k, make it 70k for your typical BSc and MSc holder.
On the...

Thanks for the answer. It looks like the average physicist is not a Terence Tao as you say, pretty unfortunate. 67k is very low imo, getting to the 100k would be the nicest minimum, but maybe there's too much luck involved in it.
Looks like petroleum makes up the head of the list. With good reason though, I wonder if it would be a wise choice to study more about energy and foresee the collapse of petroleum for the benefit of electrical cars for example and develop wiser energy methods. Just a random thought...

>67k is very low imo
You should note that the statistics say that 67k is at the start of your career. The mid career stats say 100k so maybe if you work hard and shit.
That said, if you want to be a physicist physicist then you will have to teach autistic students, there is no way around that because the only way professors make money for their company (universities) is by teaching, publishing papers is just a prestige contest you have between other professors so that when budget...

Why are insects so fuckig shit? Does God hate us?
you are not qualified to post on /sci/. you should be autistic enough to think that insects are the premier form of life on earth to post here. where is the entrance exam?

Come on son. I don't think you need any special reasons to hate insects.
