quality funposting requires an exceedingly comprehensive command of what it takes to make legitimately good posts, and then doing the opposite (or a mixture of good posting guidelines and the opposite).. here are a few that i employ evry day
grammar/writing style:
<abbreviate words: ex "you" => "u"
<use run-on sentences
<use punctuation, inappropriate places
<be redundant with your abbreviations: "in IRL life" "in this ITT" "my MFW face when"
<finish posts with ellipses, even when they are not required...
<use this smiley face: :^)
<misspell contractions and put the apostrophe in the wrong place: ex. "you're" => "yu'oer"
<utilize contractions where you shouldn't: your/you're their/they're/there
humor:
<understand your audience - what they consider hilarious and what they consider lame.. post what they consider lame and pretend that you think it's hilarious
<incorporate many levels of irony
<ironic memes have become mainstream, so be post-post-ironic
posting habits/misc:
<reply to yourself
<ask people who they're quoting
<dont correct your typos before posting
<upload photos with lots of jpeg artifacts, low quality, or very large image size for no reason
<be nice - ppl dont like it for some reason (???)
<use parenthetical asides i guess
<remember the check you're #fortune. it makes the threads colorful :^)
