It's about 6pm here
I quit smoking and feel great. I'm a year (and almost a half) smoke-free. I never thought I'd quit, either. I was proud of my smoking. I was cool as hell.
Then I was lying in bed (cliche, I know) and I thought, man, you can't actually fight cancer. See, I'm a big, strong guy, and I feel like I can punch my way out of a sticky situation. But cancer? You can't punch that shit.
I quit cold turkey a week later and I'm happy about my decision. I don't even miss smoking, and barely did while going through the bitchy jitters.
