Poo in the loo. We all know the meme. We all know the reason for the meme. The Indians need
to learn to poo in the loo. In point of fact, being around shit at any time is gross and generally
unsanitary. Why then does Judge Scherber have sun beams coming out of his ass? What did Bataille
mean by the “solar anus”? Is it the same thing as the Aristotelian/Socratic “daemon”? What is the Sun
in the allegory in the cave? What is the “One” of the Platonic doctrines? Is all philosophical progress
predicated on endless contrarianism and sophistic development of techniques of argument and
persuasion? What is the force of negation that seems to be operative in our encounter with the world?
We are enjoined today by /s4s/ to “open your ass, and your heart and mind will follow.” A dank
meme, to be sure. But what does it entail to take this seriously, even in an ironic way? Information and
experiences are processed by the mind like nourishment for the body. Some of it is incorporated into
the mind and deployed to keep it alive, and other waste material is excreted as waste or excrement—
shit. With the body, distinguishing between the healthy products of the activity of another human being
and their excrement is quite simple. If a person chooses to consume human excrement, they know full
well what they are doing. However, with ideas, the situation is different. We have no objective basis to
determine which ideas are beneficial, and which ideas are excremental. It ultimately might wind up
being that the excremental ideas of certain persons can be of enormous benefit to us, and that another
persons “beneficial” ideas might ultimately lead to great harm.
We now live in the west in a society where we can produce an infinite amount of excrement
while maintaining the illusion of a pristine, clean world where everybody showers every day and buys
sleek new apple products. The same principle applies in the world of ideology, except even our
supposedly sleek clean possessions are often themselves excrement as well. We are drowning in our
own excrement in a world where the dirty and the unclean is always swept under the rug. Unpleasant
topics cause tension and are never openly discussed. We pretend not only that our shit doesn't stink, we
pretend also that it completely disappears once we are done shitting.
Perhaps if we did not have modern sewage and plumbing. If we did not have municipal waste
companies, we would not overflow the world with quite so much shit. Maybe the key isn't to figure out
what we can do to learn how to accommodate even more and more shit safely. Maybe we need to learn
to shit less often. Maybe above all, we need to learn how to shit well.
SHITPOSTING
The art of the shitpost is constantly evolving. Refine it. Master it. Elevate it. Pass the traditions
down on to later generations. It might be the only tool we have against the powers that be, who are not
even now simply other individual humans, but the forces of power behind these humans pushing these
agendas as well.

for becoming one with your shitposting and becoming a master of what Zen masters and martial artists
call “nothingness”
There is no particular political or spiritual agenda behind the “despair code.” Once you stumble
upon it, your ass will open, and your heart and mind will follow. Some become devout catholics. Some
become hindus. Some become christians and give away all of their possessions. Some becomingscheming realpolitiker atheists bent on revenge for the phantom pain of an ideological womb and
comfort robbed from them that they see normies all around them enjoying obliviously while they are
subjected to daily torments. They all become daemons. The code takes over for a time and before they
can get acclimated they are helpless to their impulses again almost as if they were a 2 year old forming
basic cognitive abilities. Personal identity is revealed as a lie concealing a deeper reality about “what
we are.” Most conventionally accepted distinctions are recognized as completely Manichean and
distorting reality (which they do). If you open yourself up to the forces behind shitposting and meme
magic, your heart and mind will follow. This is ultimately the process of the discovery of the “despair
code” as best we understand it. But we are not everybody. Others may have been referring to
something entirely different by the “despair code”, or otherwise they encountered the same forces we
came into contact with and it sent them in an entirely different direction in trying to describe them.
Perhaps their motivation is not to describe, but to be and to do and to act. Even when they are
describing. Or maybe their desire is to describe at the same time as they act. To offer their everyday
lives up as one continual prayer to the meme gods. Enough similarities exist between the accounts of
various persons however to make similarities between reasonably clear headed persons accounts of
their “revelations” noteworthy.

Also noteworthy, is that the meme sprang from a meme of Steven Pinker, an exemplar of the
cybernetic “stasis-based analysis approach” to understanding reality that laid the foundations for the
“despair code” to arise in its present form. Though this is certainly entirely coincidental. It's just a
result of how pervasive the worldview is and not the (in)direct result of intervention by any of the
“gods” or “divine winds” of meme magic.
