This is cause and effect in its simplest form. If you don't pay for the game there is going to be drawbacks, because not all server admins are going to want to jump hoops for you.

At about 3:30pm today, someone was able to successfully log in with my account to Esforescraft and had full access to all OP commands. What allowed this was partially my fault. Earlier this morning I had posted a log of my Minecraft client on pastebin to help a developer debug a shaderpack. I had not realized that a session id token for my username was in the log. What this means is that Italian kid was able to take the session id token and with a modded client, steal my player session and authenticate as me. Since I had not logged in since that token was generated, it was still valid.

KrillerZz was banned for being in the ops.json file.
Davide_Lor was banned for being in the ops.json file.

Damage done:
Some player ranks have been changed will need to be manually set back, message me at[email protected]if your rank has been changed.
The economy may be over-saturated with certain items.
Some player balances will probably have more money but no-one cares because free money (it can't exceed $999,999.99 anyways)
Some claims may have been modified and/or deleted. This is a big issue and I'm not quite sure how to approach it.
Any items created in creative mode are not accounted for.

Conclusion: Some italian kid was able to steal my player session and log in as me. Unfortunately for them they didn't really know what they were doing and could have done much worse. They could have destroyed the economy, permissions system, etc etc. Luckily they only knew a couple world edit commands. All in all it was a sad attempt at destroying the serb. The only real damage is claims, but we can sort that out together.
