One thing I found recently: On patricianhood-centered boards like /tv/, /mu/ and /fa/ there has been an influx of /b/-ish threads displaying images of brutalized individuals, mostly women and children, accompanied by a little story about brutalizing a person for using reddit.com. These posts typically end in the poster asking the audience how they enacted their patricianhood today. A very rude meme but one that demonstrates well what happens when board culture in itself becomes hostile: Instead of embracing the all-loving anarchic ways of [s4s] patricianhood-centered boards create a kind of class system for their inhabitants. Those who don't like things that are considered 'patrician' are treated as outcasts who may not partake in discussions. This of course leads to tensions among the users which in turn cause rude memes like the one in question to come into existence.
