>I say goodbye to my wife and son from the floor below

>get into my car, turning the ignition
>open the electric garage door
>and leave

>Twelve-thirty in the morning
>I roll my car up the driveway
>opening the garage and parking within it
>I leave the car without turning it off
>I circle around to the trunk and open it
>where within lies the project I've been working on
>it squirms as I wrap my arms around the gray garbage bag
>I use my right hand to take the keys out of the car
>and my left arm to hold it
>I walk to the back of my house
>unlocking the wooden entryway leading into the sub-basement
>I heave it back up into my arms, and walk downstairs

>I turn the light-switch
>revealing the rectangular pedestal
>and my "little shop of horrors"

>and bite into it as would some ravenous beast
>it's screaming turns to gurgling

>I wipe it away with my finger
>and lick off the residue
>I keep chopping and chopping
>putting the goods into ice packs in the fridge
>beside last week's and the weeks before that
>the screams aren't as bad now
>and while I'm tearing out one of it's arteries

>I stop cutting
>the world stops moving
>and god's greatest creation fills the room

>Pure
