1. Come to 4chan save 1000 images plus every visit
2. Transfer images from main drive to porn drive folder entitled Filter
3. Sift through images porn and not porn (not porn gets moved to another folder: sexy girls)
4. Delete all fatties, troll images, butter faces etc.
5. Move into sub folder titled QC
6. Go through every single image deleting anything I deem not worthy (as I'm going through I think in my head: beef curtains - delete, no tits - delete, could be a trap - delete, etc.)
5. Images are then sorted between three sub folders (amateur, sets for sorting, move to not porn, pro, special, etc.)
6. Never fap to any of it, just collect it. I got vids for fappin. And none of it really ever turns me on.
I think I do all this because A. I'm pretty OCD and B. because it's a calming thing. I mean, does anyone do anything remotely similar? I'm pretty picky though. I got a few images I'll post from my "passed" folder.
This is stuff from my "passed" but not sorted stuff, so there will be some ama, some stuff from sets, some other BS.
All of these are random images from this "passed" folder.
I also typically delete everything under 500X500 dimensions and move all the gifs and webms to a separate place for sorting.
i browse porn forums for pictures every day, mostly to post on /s/. i have over a terabyte of pictures. the only weird thing you do is saving so many images that you later delete.
There, I'm done posting from "passed" until someone either shows some interest, or answers my question.

Well it's like a funnel, with a filter. I save a bunch of them because I'm using the 4chan downloader on chrome. So I get a bunch of bullcrap a lot of the time.

Do something similar, except I use it to jerk off before sleep. All images have a 4 digit code indicating type, quality, and order.
What porn forums do you use, may I ask? I've mostly stuck to reddit and 4chan.

OP, I literally do the exact same thing. Several external hard drives full of images, occasionally deleting the crappy stuff, but keeping the rest.
Never look at any of it though. I just save it.

I'm no psychologist but i think it has something to do with our need for control. As long as we have them, there is no need to use it. Kinda like the old Cold War era of having nukes in our arsenal as a means of assurance. Maybe it's simply a hobby kind of thing, like collecting stamps, lol.
I also rarely fap to them anymore. It could be cause we're too desensitized by it and i'm still young.

I don't like models, shiny, profesional, "fake" or perfect photos/girls. It's rare when I see one that I like.
I'm more of real girl, amateur, voyeur. Also I need to see face. I need to see the personality in the face. Sometimes I like a girl just because of her facial expression or look. She could be fat, but if he's personality jumps out I'm won over.

Pretty common behaviour, I reckon. Though maybe not as in depth as that. I used to do it. Then for a while I'd maybe save a couple of movies and/or just go to imagefap and look for what I was in the mood to see.
I purged the videos on my computer recently and within hours I'd saved about 10 images I came across. Half aren't even great. Just some monkey brain behaviour.

I used to do the exact same thing almost everyday for over a year. Even though I carefully filtered and organized my collection it became so large (~127gb of photos) I failed to see the point in continuing; I never even used my collection as fap fuel and deleted almost everything except for a select few wallpaper worthy photos and SG sets, lol.
My entire life, I've never collected anything else IRL or digitally. It was calming like you said, anon. However, besides having such a uselessly large collection, curating in such a detailed manner started to affect how I looked at women IRL. I didn't like it.

I downthemall hundreds of pics into folders and save individual pics into a "good" folder.
Later i look through them deleting bad pics.
I'll also crop pics so they fill the frame.
Sometimes i crop again to focus on her lower half and save as another file so that when i'm paging through i don't need to even click to enlarge.
I don't usually fap to pics. It's more of a warm up. Instead i read erotica and watch vids.
