I have about 700k female nude/semi-nudes from 1900's to the present. It seems the industry and Photogs started focusing on symmetry. Round boobs to match round hips.
That process in turn supposedly created the "perfect girl". Which is false.
My personal experience with boobers is most are not symmetrical. Far from it.
I see a lot of negative comments here and other places about some girls boobs
not being that great when in fact those type boobs are in the majority.

I think the pointed cups idea is probably right. Natural torpedo tits are a rarity these days. Cynthia Myers is one of my favorites from the late 60s. The super inflated tumor like fake tits is a disgusting trend that's still lingering from the 90s and needs to die already.

I honestly prefer the classic tit torpedo look, and you just don't see it that much anymore. I doubt it's a result of women with breasts that shape choosing to avoid porn, porn tends to get a fairly wide draw of the current female population. A whole segment of breast shape isn't going to stay hidden.
It's more the changing shape of bra's and the rise of plastic surgery. Also, those seventies pin up girls were older than the typical porn actress we see today (18-21 year olds). twenty something tits have a different shape than teenage tits.
