You see a going nowhere thread being deleted every so often, but the mods should be more vigilant..or at least just more continuous. /s/ is worth keeping a close moderating eye on, more so than most other boards on 4chan.
Yeah, they are pretty slow and sometimes when something is clearly a shop and you report it, nothing happens. It doesn't help when people make threads asking for a name without providing 6 pictures and other people don't immediately point to /r/ and provide her name.

I used to take the time to go through the catalog every time I came to /s/ and report every thread that hadn't hit the minimum 6 pics unless the last post was less than 10 minutes old, in which case I was willing to give the OP time to rummage. This would routinely be 15-20 threads, often spread all the way to page 8 or 9. And that's before counting all the threads with dicks in them, or the threads started with non-/s/ pics, which would usually account for another 4-5 threads.
And then one day I was off work and had the free time to check in every hour or two, to see how quickly those reported threads actually died. Most of them lingered for 8+ hours. At least half of them only expired when they fell off the last page, over the following week.
The mods for /s/ are terrible, and should absolutely be replaced.

I also routinely report threads as I look through /s/ and I just don't see the stuff going away, so i just assumed I'm the only fool who bothers. There seems to be a real effort made by regular posters to get /s back into shape. Really the only thing lacking is a dedicated janitor. Of all the nsfw boards on 4chan this one is surely most worthy of constant moderation. Less would be so much more here. Utopian feels
