Yeah there are more than just designers and models in fashion. The commercial side is huge and goes way beyond advertising and retail. Of course there are also perfumers, cosmetic designers, marketers, organizers etc.
There are a lot of good schools that aren't too expensive in the US and EU if you guys were ever interested.
I went to the Fashion Institute of Technology myself as a CUNY transfer. Wasn't too hard getting in or out.

Men's wear is a big industry in the US and UK, less so in mainland Europe. You should start learning to sketch and sow and maybe you could actually transfer someday.
I went for women's wear personally because I like the more versatile designs, I also like using a lot of denim in my designs which is generally considered easier to use on women.
