Can someone confirm if this is real?

I very much doubt the first image is real. They appear to have performed a tracheostomy on her (the hole into her throat) and yet it isn't connected to a ventilator of any sort. Tracheostomies are exceptionally high risk - something rarely attempted even in the most advanced A&E/Casualty department unless the circumstances were truly, horrendously dire. The risk of death by infection is very high. It's done under as sterile and controlled conditions in as fully prepared operating theater as possible. They'd definitely clean her up.
Similarly, even if it were done in the utmost crisis, she'd be surrounded by scores of medical practitioners working on her. They'd be connecting it up and cleaning her up, checking for further injuries for one thing.
Finally, even after death, even if she had died, there's no dignity in that death. They'd be cleaning her up and not photographing her with no doctors around.
This simply isn't real. There's no way on Earth she'd end up with a disconnected tracheostomy and covered in that much blood. It just makes no medical sense whatsoever.
Looks dramatic on TV though...
