- seriously, there is a part of the brain that, when stimulated with electricity or magnetic fields, gives the person the feeling that they are "in the presence of god". it's possible that the very religious types have a neural deformity in that lobe.

after seeing someone roll their eyes back into the sockets, shake and mutter and then say "they were in the presence of god", you can't help but feel there's some brain damage going on.

You could talk about how the bible stories like the flood and Noah etc are shared amongst many ancient religion and parts of the Old Testament are not unique to Christianity
