I'm looking for a comics name I completely forgot.
It's about a group of superheroes which gained their power by a meteor passing earth. They are all put in a camp for education and figuring out their specific power, which is shown in flashbacks. The story sets in with single heroes being murdered by finding their weak spots.
It turns out that a small group of those heroes murders them as they notice they share the pool of powers and gain more strength, the less heroes exist.
It was neither published by Marvel, nor by DC. The original series had, I believe, 6 books, I read them in a series of 3 collective books.
