This is a work in progress. Let me know any additional tips & tricks and I'll add them to the next version.
Step 1: Identify it yourself!
Before you go around asking for help, use the reverse image search on:
(sorted by probability of success)
1. http://namethatpornstar.com (Works for gifs)
2. http://namethatporn.com (only works for still images)
3. google image reverse search (Works for gifs. Most results won't have source listed but you can improve probability of that by adding keywords "source", "sauce", "who is", "inurl:forum", "inurl:board" to your search)
4. http://tineye.com
5. http://karmadecay.com (reddit reverse image search)
6. http://imgops.com (paste your image-link and it will create easy links for you to start reverse image search on google, bing, yandex etc.)
8. http://saucenao.com (great for anime/hentai)
9. http://iqdb.org (great for anime/hentai)
7. 4chan archives: Searching by image hash on fgts.jp and 4ch.be can be useful (if your pic stems from 4chan and you know the hash)

If the reverse image search engines don't get you the source it's time to start asking other fappers on the following boards:

Step 3: Find a stream!
Now it's time to find a full vid of your desired scene if you didn't get it in your threads. For this it is recommended to use search engines instead of trying all the tubes individually.
(sorted by size & probability of success)
1. http://pron.tv (searches xxx tubes, general video-hosters & download-hosters. High chance of finding entire scenes and a lot of JAV)
2. http://pornmd.com (searches only the pornhub network(pornhub, redtube, spankwire) but has nice advanced search and good interface)
3. http://nudevista.com (searches lots of tubes but often only finds preview videos)
4. Bing video search
-> All else fails just google it (not google video search, they don't index the xxx tubes properly)

tineye's terms of service says porn is prohibited. it's not like the internet police are going to come to your house and fuck you up if you use tineye to find porn sources, but it does mean that it rarely works anymore.
you might want to add that some of these reverse image search services offer browser plugins.
i think google's reverse search (and maybe others) uses the thumbnail of gifs and webms in it's search, not the whole file.
overall, it's pretty good.

On gifs results can differ in cases like gfycat if you use the og:image thumb because thats what places like reddit use as thumb

i think tineye just excludes obvious pornsites from their database. i don't think they can prevent anyone from using their service to find porn. but it is really hit or miss. it can be good at finding the original of a shooped image.
Tip: Add "-site:tumblr.com" to google image search queries as 99.9% of tumblr results do not have the source. (it excludes all of tumblr. fuck tmblr btw)
