Anyways, I noticed the latest version is 1.274. I wrote that on the archive to specify. The older crack versions do not work, sadly.
If anyone could make a torrent out of this, I'd appreciate it. We'd get much better connections and hope for finding a crack to get this baby to work.

Alright so, I MAY have a solution.
I've been trying to use SmartSteamEmulator to get FaceRig to work.
If you haven't heard of it, it's a program where you can run games without steam.
Can anyone confirm it?

Gave me a black screen after title screen.
Looking into it. Might be the steam_api.dll not being "authentic".
Loading the untouched version.
This is what I did to make it *sort-of* function.
1. Paste the SmartSteam files in your steam installation. ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam )
I actually recommend using maybe a portable copy of Steam of some sort, because, I'm not going to keep SmartSteam forever.
2. Start SSELauncher.exe
3. Click File and look for FaceRig.exe, the uncracked one.
4. Where it says "Game App ID", put in "274920" because that's the id in the store.
5. Tap "Inject SmartSteamEmu"
6. Go to the DLC Manager tab.
7. Where it says "DLC APP ID", put in "420680" and give it a name, and click add.
8. Press save and launch.
It loads fine to the menu but gets a black screen after loading.
Maybe it's just me? We are SO close to getting it to work.

I've logged out of Steam as a precaution.
I think if you want to play games online with Smart Steam it does show up as a random game but only if you logged in.
Looks like I actually got it to WORK!
I did some poking around with SmartSteam and instead of using FaceRig.exe, I used Launcher.exe
and added the bypasses.
Clicking on Bypass Launcher ( Troubleshooting ), somehow it loaded the menu and no black screen.
With some tinkering with the advanced tracking, we can finally enter the waifu era.
I'll definitely do a All-in-One pack if you guys want.

The only other things i'm finding, if it isnt the files themselves, are the generic "run it in admin mode" or "Reboot after installing" answers.

I found a fix to get it to work. All you have to do is go to launcher.exe, and before you click it, you have to sell your soul to anime. Then you'll become the waifu you've always wanted to be.

I originally installed a version of facerig from some russian site, and trying to use this KIND OF works.
and by KIND OF, I mean that these anime models aren't being recognized in the folder, BUT I do believe I have the updated version of the game now using this.

You have to enter the registry keys/values from FaceRig v1.274/installScript.vdf into your registry
For me it was:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Holotech\Facerig
Though, it only worked if I explicity entered the directories

Torrent didn't have the most reliable method desu. I tried to install it on my laptop which I barely use so I could use the build in webcam, but no matter what I tried I kept receiving errors.
On my computer it was no problem at all to get it to run, although now I must use my fucking mobile as webcam and it only records at 480. Still this software is pretty great first time I honestly consider to get into erp. Shopping for a proper webcam as we speak.
tldr: Just buy it it's pretty good.
