I make duplicate layer/color, and use overlay color sampled brush tool from another picture to color one are at time/ layer, remove any overlapped coloring with eraser and when i have done all different colors, merge visible.. that's it.
you jut need to test what overlay opacity works with picture in question.
would it be asked too much for one of you wizzards to do this one?
