/r help me out. Is there really a camera blind apparatus that shows up a white spot on a camera? I saw it on 'Honor Among Thieves' on White Collar and I want to know if it's actually possible. Also what is it? (Pic related but I couldn't find the security footage from the show)

Seriously dude...
probably not the way displayed in whatever movie you saw it, but people have been working on similar tech, based on LED, both in visible light and infrared light.
just searching something simple like "led against security cameras" should get you started.

>Cameras capture light.
So to distort the image you can either block the light from the camera or flood the camera with light. Aside from physically tampering with a camera there is not much more you can do. Also you can't just burn out a camera with a high powered laser. It could do damage, but that doesn't me the unit wont function. Why not just wear a mask?
>Glass will reflect thermal cameras though. Saw that shit on Mythbusters!
