Hey /r/,
i search for this image program, which let's me view pictures way easier, with zooming and all.
All i knew of it was, that it had a red panda as a logo. I tried to draw it (see pic).
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

might explain why? I only view fotos and couldnt find any better, but it has so many options, it looks like it could do way more.
xnview is a good choice too.
but i like the old acdsee 3.0

it's free, it's fast, it's very versatile, it has good plug-ins and can basically view anything you want it it (in 60 sec you can set it up to browse webms just like pictures for instance), it's literally over a decade old and well-tested and it doesn't mess with your pictures unless you want it to (unlike the windows viewer).
i probably barely use a quarter of the available functionality, so i'm not really a good advocate for its intricacies. but it has a lot of basic funtions for image editing on board. i don't use them, that's what i have GIMP for. but it's exactly the type of program you can give your mom so she can manage her photos. heck, the change size dialogue has buttons for "make it half size". it's super noob friendly, but has a lot of depth for powerusers.
