The previous anon is right. U don't get the full version for free, just an upgrade. To even get that free upgrade, u need a valid / legit Windows 7 / 8 license so technically it's not really free.

This "free offer" from MS is good until next July I believe (One year anniversary of Windows 10), after that u need to pay for it.

Actually, I just remembered something. MS is allowing even "pirated versions" of Windows 7 / 8 to get that free upgrade if am not mistaken ?

Come on, what's wrong with it lol ? It's a "hybrid" of Windows 7 & 8. I actually like Windows 10 more then Windows 8, was never a fan of the "Metro" / "Tile" look & the removal of the "Start" button that's been there from the beginnning.
