so what exactly do you want here?
going to landscape would mean you lose roughly 2/3 of hight. just composition-wise it'll probably look awful. which strip do you prefer?
concerning scaling: you can have pixel perfect scaling which preserves the pixel art look, but leaves everything very blocky. or you can have interpolation, which makes everything look smoother, but also blurry (picture related).
