I think he was saying that he had the unpopular opinion and other anons told him to fuck off
>There are people on this site who want IDs and Flags on all boards, even going as far as to say that we need accounts.
I want all these people hung.
I said this in another thread once but maybe it's relevant here too.
I don't know much about other popular "discussion" sites, but from what little I do know about them 4chan actually seems like the only place for actual discussion.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all the other ones use stupid systems like sorting content by person instead of topic (like twitter and facebook?) or by sorting conversations by popularity of each little individual comment (e.g. you know what site I'm talking about)?
So maybe all these people...

Hanged. Not hung.
>>556764
You mean hanged, I'm already hung.
So will /co/ ever again have non-nazi non-furfag mods?
Or is that a requirement for that "job"?
problematic thread
why is this allowed
post cartoons you only liked for the waifus :)
Will /int/ ever have competent mods?
>>556179
no
Tell me mods… do you feel in charge?
Do you?
I bet you do.
I bet you feel a sense of satisfaction as you delete a thread involving baneposting.
I bet you feel a sensational form of gratification as you delete the thread with your greasy cheeto dusted fingers. I bet you get a little tingle in your tiny member as you delete this thread, your double chin quivering as you chuckle at the mild irritation that us baneposters have at your interference.
But the fire rises, mods. Baneposting will never die. For too long we've had hotheads derail threads, autistic crossposters who bring their identity politics to the table in an effort to impress everyone. But Baneposting is the glue that keeps this board together. It's the meme that reminds us of an age where we could have fun and have a good laugh at CIA and his flight plan antics.
But what do you do? You delete these threads, in favour of race-baiting threads which brings in stormfags from /pol/ and SJWs from reddit. You turn this board to shit with your modding, your pettiness at a meme. You would allow /pol/fags to derail threads blaming blacks and jews for their shortcomings, but delete a thread about Flight Plans? You would allow Redditfags to whine about white washing and praise black casting, but deny us from grabbing our prize?
You fucking mods make me sick. You're fucking scum. You're a pack of fucking hotheads who won't allow us to bond over a meme, and with your pettiness you are making this board eat itself from the inside out. Kill yourself. End it. We'll banepost until we're fucking dead. We've started the fire. And we'll crash this board with no survivors.

Mods don't give a shit about your cancer meme.

Pick one.
What if we had an option to post without a post number?
I think it would be an excellent way to break reply chains and stop pointless 1-up battles.
The thing is, it's not just that your post isn't able to be linked to, because people will still find a way to reference your post, but I really think from a psychological point of view it would go a long way toward helping people ignore things.
First of all, you can imagine that someone responds to one of your posts with something very annoying, something that you would normally respond to and end...

What the actual fuck
I'm not sure what you're suggesting
When did avatarfagging become okay? I have been reporting the same avatarfag repeatedly and none of her posts are being removed. She avatarfags as "Supergirl" in /lgbt/ and has spammed up both of these threads:
>>>/lgbt/6307859
>>>/lgbt/6329111
Please let me know if there is a better procedure to report avatarfags because they are fucking obnoxious and I thought they were also in violation of the global rules....

Cis Lesgen is one of the islands of purity on that godawful board though
Mods and hotpocketeers (jannys) only delete/b& what they feel like. If you're reporting their friend from tumblreddit or IRC, they're gonna let it slide since some of us are more equal than others :^)
How come we don't have a "Reason" field whenever a post is reported? I would personally want to write out in specific detail why someone should be banned.
>>553357
I think mainly because people will just start reporting petty problems, not saying im agaisnt but it will start to clog up the already lazy mods notifcations
>>553357
because people would just use it to leave insults for the janitors and mods
on the other hand though I'll report blatant spoilers in /tv/ or people who are spamming their chosen topic of autism and it'll stay up. The janitor will either not realize it's a spoiler or they aren't around enough to know something is spam until they see it in their report queue for the hundredth time. Like it took forever for the /tv/ janitors to start deleting the threads of the guy who would always start his OP...

>I would personally want to write out in specific detail why someone should be banned.
Most likely because of that reason. I know I would write a fucking essay citing rules and prior archived mod posts every time I reported something.
It has been revealed that the new janitor on /out/ is actually a notorious tripfag from /an/ called Bugguy !S0xZFbp/pY, but now goes by Plont.
If you make any post referencing Bugguy it will be deleted. Any negative comment toward content he posts "your picture is out of focus" etc. your post will be deleted. This guy is a loose cannon and gives out 10min mutes willy nilly. I had one the other day for calling him out as bugguy. If it happens again I'll screenshot it.
>>547792
Don't know much about it but I believe it. Having users become janitors with 4chan as mainstream as it is now seems pretty retarded to me.
I mean, of course it's not the regular users who enjoy this place and post in a normal fashion that are going to volunteer to be a janitor >for free. They enjoy discussing here, but don't want to do cleanup because that's not why they come here. They visit to actually use the damn board and have fun.
It's people like tripfags, attention whores...

This.
I'm familiar with the guy as Bugguy from /an/ because I frequent both /an/ and /out/, but now he keeps his trip, changes his name to Plont, and is posting on /out/ like he's hot shit.
>>547811
that's what I've found from the last 2 waves of new janitors
it seems like people who just want to win any argument for themselves or their friends by deleting posts and handing out warnings
they usually stick to 1-2 generals too, and never really do anything outside of that

this is just today, there are examples going back a few weeks.
janitor spent his time deleting individual posts before just deleting the threads and not allowing discussion of new Refn movie.
these aren't "waifu" threads.
can a mod/janitor actually address the bizarre moderation on /tv/ please?
some of the /tv/ jannies have gone completely insane and are now deleting threads about any movie with female leads, especially if they're young
meanwhile in direct violation of rule 11 moderation is babysitting these "internet reviewer" threads

every other board is allowed to post relevant images except /tv/ for some bizarre reason.
here is global rule 11 pertaining to these shitposting threads >>518632
Why do people get so upset about people using the name option?
And why do they act like IDs are the worst thing to ever happen?
They think IDs are somehow persistent. Like, as opposed to be a RNG blob of text, it's a thing.
And namefield-posters are just setting themselves up for being ignored. Either outright or through filtering. I don't know. People think that people think their posts are going to be so good that others will want to keep track of them?
Also, I have a script that just outright removes names and tripcodes. It's really nice.
Autism. They don't understand tripcodes are mere tools and IDs have been a thing since forever.
Best part is, we're actually going to have IDs implemented on all boards soon, and they won't be able to do anything about it.

Dont allow phone users to post pictures
Allow them to comment
I agree
Prevents people from spamming cp from phones and evading Cp bans but doesn't block them from making text replies
With quality posts like these who even cares about phones?
Why arent overwatch threads being curbed on /v/? Are 15 threads for 1 game really necessary? Is it really right to flag and 404 meta threads, but allow FIFTEEN Overwatch™ threads?
because /v/ is a mess

This. The autistic Malayfag will probably come here to call us all "cucks" or some shit for calling his heap of turds for what it is. Not only that, but he's just trying to squeeze every penny he can get out of that board at the expense of general quality. He's hijacked the draw thread, and even changes his IP around just to bump his threads. It's more autism than one man can handle.
