Is it just me or do moderators make things worse here by insta-deleting "off topic" posts, no matter how interesting, while giving a free pass to nominally on-topic, repetitively posted circlejerk fests?
99% of my problem with the site now is that the mods don't ever dare tackle some of the growths we have on various boards, because they are nominally on-topic, however banal and repetitive
>insta-deleting "off topic"
>worse
no
I think I know the source, he did pic related and I didn't post CP or any pedophilic images, he apparently hates anyone with a viewpoint that differs from his though

It all depends on whether the mods on that board like the board. (Mod privileges are global, but in practice mods typically stick to a few boards and respect other mods' "turfs.") /a/'s mods were historically friendly to the board, although that relationship seems to be going downhill of late. On the other extreme, we had (may still have) a mod working /k/, /lit/, and /sci/ who treated the userbase with utter contempt. At various points, /sci/ got spammed with 30+ threads about Schrodinger's...

The mod is in the thread, banned Tailsposter and other shitposters, but won't delete any of the furry images.
Mods being awake and ignoring furry posts is far too common an occurrence on /vp/. Furries on /vp/ always act like it's allowed on "their"...

As soon as people realize that GR3 is more than just the "no furries" rule and that it being properly enforced would probably affect your posting of dank memes and such

I don't see the problem
This movie has the most dedicated shilling campaign I have ever seen. Every few hours you can guarantee there will be a thread on /tv/ with the same regurgitated "discussion" stuck on loop.
Yes yes well done OP well done yes
HOWEVER

Is this the birth of an epic new meme?

riddle me this OP: are you actually being serious?
Can we submit more than one banner per board?
I don't even know if we can do one submission per board so I used different IP and e-mail for each one just to make sure.
I also have another question. I plan on making one that's a .gif. Does the board name have to be in all the frames?
Is the idea to bring more traffic to less populated boards? And why did they make it so that only those with a pass can vote? That's the easiest way to ensure that no one votes.

/pol/ is too politically biased towards Nazism to be anything but a containment board.
I propose its deletion and replacement with /left/ and /wrong/
>>566803
What compelled you to make this thread?
Be honest.
Are you saying Todd Howard is a nazi? Do you have evidence?
NIGGER CUNT
There are currently over 50 GoT threads on /tv/.
Where are the mods? Where are the janitors?
WHY THE FUCK are they allowed to have a general, when they shit up the ENTIRE FUCKING BOARD anyway?
Literally over one third of the catalog is GoT cancer.
Mods, janitors, chinese Moot, please fix this shit. The board is intolerable enough without having to LITERALLY HAVE TO WADE THROUGH SHIT to find content.

*Edit now 60+ for a single episode.
>being mad that there are a bunch of threads for the best episode of the current season of the most popular show on the release day
If seeing this many threads annoys you, avoid /tv/ on the release day.
>>566813
There is no justifiable reason for 60+ threads for a single episode.
You could literally discuss every single aspect of that episode to death, within 2 threads.
Not every single "epic" quip deserves its own thread, retard.
Is there a way to report that a certain thread needs moderating, but not that the thread itself needs deleting?
Consider >>55169989 , which has quickly devolved into pic related
There isn't, but that's an interesting idea.
I imagine they're aware of a general's tendency to behave like a general, though.

It grew. Or more accurately, it exploded.
Why did /qa/ and /q/ become cpmplaint forums instead of meta discussions
Because then people will come, /qa/ is good because no one comes here and its unlisted

Why don't you start some meta threads instead of not-so-subtly complaining about the complaining?

Why are mods allowed to set auto-deny on appeals for the bans they give? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the appeal? To have another mod review the transgression?

They get tired of people trying to convince them that they aren't pedos for posting loli

It seems very counter productive. I mean reading an appeal should be part of there job.
I know most bans on 4chan are legitmate. But I can recall two times I got banned unfairly.
1st time was for posting in a touhou thread where you have to make a veryation of that one 2hu in a bucket. And I made mine a papyrus one. I got banned for "Quality of Posts" with no apeal.
2nd TIme. I posted "What does /pol/ have to be proud about because I was angry at all of these gay pride people. And...

Why the fuck does it take literal hours to delete blacked.com promotion threads on /tv? Seriously? Are you fucking niggers getting paid to allow this? Is Hirohito sanctioning this?
