Why are the mods on some boards so trigger happy?
Why do some boards have unspoken rules?
Why don't all boards just have a sticky?
Go back to 8gag
Rec threads are against the global rules you cockmunch
>>339661
Not exactly, man
Reminder that anime and specially moe anime is the ultimate redditor repellent. If you want your home board to be free of filthy redditors then start saving those pictures of smug animu girls and posting them as much as you can.
Oh boy I can't wait for this thread to turn into yet another 200+ reply shitfest.
anime lolis with penises
reddit likes anime, though.
Can we keep racism and politics off on /his/
I'm tired of seeing posts and threads about "was this civilization white?" or "jews were responsible for all this terrible stuff"
t. nigger and kike
It's a new board and it's already being shitted up by /pol/
>>339401
I'm pretty sure they say nigger and kike even on slow boards
>>339401
Every board has native racists. It doesn't have anything to do with /pol/ except that /pol/ contains those people for the most part. However that doesn't matter to the people that don't consider /pol/ their home board.
>>339401
The Jewz joke has been around since forever and can be found on every board, in varying amounts.
The closer the board's subject can be related to a discussion of history/genetics/etc the more opportunities there are to shitpost.
Sorry to tell you, but /his/ a bastardized mix of /pol/, /lit/, /sci/, and /k/, will be an ideal place for such things.

Oh future-kun, when will you ever learn?

Reddit for a long time. Most of possibly dangerous sites are dead already, 9gag isn't a threat anymore, the Tumblr panic seems to be more quiet lately, while the Reddit panic is beginning to achieve the cancer banana from /b/ level. Maybe Facebook (and Twitter I guess, but I don't use Twitter), I've seen many 4chan memes from normie sites liked by my normie friends.
Also /pol/, but these faggots' bogeyman status is fully deserved.
>>339293
>but these faggots' bogeyman status is fully deserved.
No. /pol/ does not spread. It's people coming to us and getting indoctrinated and then going back to their real boards.
What is this site? Why does it exist?
Are there people who actually think it's its own forum?
>those randomized names
Heh
>>339123
Sites do that sometimes. They seed it with fake conversations using a crawler on 4chan.
Oh, this thing again. There's basically two likely chances, either it's someone's little web crawling experiment or it's another Google ad money bait page. It isn't the only website to do it either, things like these have been around for quite some time already.
Either way, it's bizarre how someone would prominently stick his own name and professional reputation onto something like that
So what imageboards/textboards do you visit these days?
Poopiebuttchan
>>339059
Haha you use PBChan too?
>>339086
Yeah man, what boards do you like?
>furries and bronies flocking to the board labeled "Trash"
it's like poetry
>>338895
shit is glorious
And with all this , there are people who are fucking butthurt about it:
https://boards.4chan.org/trash/thread/76699#p78584[benis]
/trash/ is honestly one of the best boards that has been created in a long time.
Is CÚCK still a banned naughty word that triggers the mods and hurts their feelings?
>>338885
he said, his feelings obviously hurt
>>338886
I'm not the one getting triggered by naughty words.
>>338888
cool story hurtfeels
So why don't we have basic text formatting, other than
>greentexting
orangetexting<
to augment our posts with?
In the current year
Because it's useless.
It's not a fucking forum
No tangible benefit and lots of shitposting potential.
Bring back reverse headers. Why where they even removed in the first place?
Hello. Can we have sage back on /jp/? There was no reason to remove it. The board has been using it for several years in its intended way (when posting something not worthy of bumping the thread). We got a core part of our culture removed just because other boards didn't know how to behave themselves and sage bombed threads. I know sage is technically still around but of course what I mean is that it would be nice to see it being visible on /jp/ again. You already added sjis to the board anyway
Doesn't making sage visible go against the point of sage itself? You're meant to use it to not bump threads because a post doesn't warrant a bump, so isn't it counter intuitive that a feature meant to be inconspicuous and not draw attention be visible?
>>338474
Sage was always visible. Even on Futaba and 2ch. Otherwise I agree with you, whether or not it's visible doesn't matter. And OP is a faggot for considering something as simple as whether or not sage is visible "part of the culture".
OP, you're on a discussion board, not a tribal group in the jungle. You have no fucking culture. And sage being invisible doesn't take away its function. If something that petty is part of your culture then take a long hard look at it and decide whether...

You don't seem to understand the concept of culture. Every board has its own culture, even if this culture breaches the rules. This goes for any sort of social group, no matter how simplistic it is. You're stuck in a false dichotomy of "real" and "virtual".

Hiroshimoot, what the FUCK is this?
http://sheekyforums.com/
>data mining
You mean archiving?
It's been around since the summer, before Hiro. That site archives posts but swaps around the format and claims the content is its own forum, and runs ads to try to make a quick buck.
Don't even bring traffic to it.
>>338393
You're about a year late. /pol/ was talking about this before moot even left.
>>338428
Uh-huh. So it's like an archive, except it's not an archive. What an insightful post.
Why are holocaust threads on /his/ getting autosaged? Hiro, Mods, (moot?) can you chime in on this?
If the thread doesn't belong on the board delete it or move it to /trash/, but why autosage it? Is it a Janny thing?
>>338172
>Do not try to treat this board as /pol/ with dates
>implying autosage exists
Do companies actually viral market their shit here or is that just /pol/ retards being paranoid
We don't have evidence for neither side of the argument, but why wouldn't they? They can reach a very large audience and give themselves visibility with low effort, and most importantly trigger viral phenomena easily enough. If I were the marketing planner of some company which sells stuff somewhat related to the topics of a big board here, I'd include 4chan in the viral marketing targets
>>338171
Not going to lie, but back in my shitposting days I would pretend to be a marketer by making positive/hype threads on /v/ for a game. Also making posts defending a game and "accidentally" throwing in a "we" or "our" to make people take the bait.
One thing about basically any internet community is that people will always cease upon a "gotch-ya" moment.
As >>338186 said, we don't have any conclusive evidence. Although,...

It's not JUST /pol/ retards being paranoid, it's also /v/, /tv/, and /g/ retards being paranoid.
>art boards like /lit/, old /mu/ and /tv/ encouraged elitism through demanding exploring the medium and improving one's interest and knowledge in medium through the years.
>/a/ encourages elitism through telling anyone who asks for anything or disagress with the board to fuck off and spamming threads they don't like to hell, almost no knowledge in the medium is required
>make a shit thread
>get sitposted to death
Seems about right.
>/mu/ and /tv/ are now dead meme infested shitholes
>/lit/ would have gone the same way if not for it's inherently superior topic
There's been a lot of these threads lately regarding /a/. Did something major happen or something?
Should Touhou be allowed on /v/?
No.
yes
Touhou is for the masses
