>go to /his/
>adult and civil debates where fallacies are immediately called out
>go to /pol/ and /int/
>people keep throwing shit at each other, no conflicting viewpoints are allowed and if you dare posting an unpopular opinion you'll be bombarded by strawmen and ad hominem and other childish behaviors
Thanks Hiro for making /his/, it's the best thing that has happened to 4chan in a long time.
>>350351
/pol/ is like /cgl/ but instead of cosplaying as video game or show characters, people pretend to be edgy neo-nazis.
>>350351
>/pol/ and /int/
The boards with fucking forced flags enabled are full of shitposting retards. Not surprising.
>>350387
>muh flags
/sp/ has forced flags and relatively little shitposting.
We need an /ag/ to be the /vg/ to /a/'s /v/, in other words, we need a /vg/ for animus, an anime general board.
pic pretty much unrelated
We need a single board for all generals from every board barring /v/. Cleanse the site
Generals are literal cancer.
>>350381
This, only faggottry of the highest order has ever came out from generals, no matter the subject. They should be against the rule since they are guaranteed to produce low quality posts
http://strawpoll.me/6035185
Should /vp/ be deleted? Theres not enough traffic on this board to keep it alive and lets face it - its almost another /s4s/ at this point. We could have /pkmng/ generals on /vg/ and threads on upcoming games on /v/. That way there would be less shitposts and more actual discussion.
Thread on /vp/:
>>>/vp/24667007
/vp/ is worthless and it's a hivemind circlejerk of furries, underage, and cross-siters.
ban it to /trash/
Yes and delete /mlp/ too. Allow horsefuckers to have a single containment thread on /co/ and keep G15 for the rest of the boards either way.
How exactly is it comparable to /s4s/?
Why aren't VP9 WebM's supported by 4chan? It essentially halves the file size without sacrificing quality, and that could benefit the servers and the users.
Ask the developer through https://www.4chan.org/feedback
I'm sure it's something he'd consider implementing
>>349757
I did that months ago.
>>349764
Well the likelihood of you getting an actual response here is just as good.
I'd be for it if VP9 is supported in-browser by a majority.
Hey /qa/ I'm thinking about opening a little shop, im in a state where weed is illegal. I wanna sell weed related shit, like bongs, weed vaporizers, rolling paper, and etc. Anything against the law about this?

We need a meta board. People obviously want one because it's basically what q&a is used for. If making a new board doesn't sound very appealing why not just rename q&a to meta?
>>349658
Also, q&a needs a tiny bit of moderation from time to time. Sometimes I see s4s tier threads.
This is a meta board you dingus.
>>349668
>BAWWWWW i can't handle seeing threads i don't like
>WAAAAAHH we need a downvote system
WHAT IS THIS?
Reddit garbage.
>>349606
A scam. Every single one of these "free" games has something ultra shady at its heart to monetize with. Most likely push notification ads / ad tracking software, or, if you're lucky, just some kind in-game feature that forces you to spend real money. It is disgraceful to have this shit on 4chan.
I clicked the ad for you
It is a "meme adventure of a sad frog"
The absolute madman.
>>>/l/
Nice false flag, OP. Here's your non-bump.
OP just won't quit.
>sharing a board with shota fags
Is it just a coincidence that 4chan started going to shit at the same time anime did too? moot stopped watching anime at around 2009 I think, and I totally understand why he would do that, since there was barely anything worth watching being made after that period. I still watch it occasionally but not as much as I used to. Now I'm more of a manga guy.
You're trying to rationalize something that is inherently subjective, therefore it's not worthy of discussion.
4chan has worsened due to lack of rule enforcement and adequate moderation.
>>349460
moot being an animefag was what gave birth to the site. He stopped giving a shit about the site in general when anime became shit too.
Co-incidence.
split the uk into regional flags, i want to know when i'm talking to a filthy jock.
yeah i'm sure they'll get right on that
Boo hoo faggot
What is UK definition of "jock"?
/l/ content is illegal and will never come to 4chan for that purpose.
>>349169
agreed now stop complaining
1) It's not illegal.
2) It's already allowed on every board as long as it's SFW, and NSFW is allowed on /b/. A board for it would be very active, by the way.
Now stop samefagging on /qa/.
Is it just me, or does the way the boards (at least the worksafe ones) are listed on the front page make almost no sense?
Why are /f/ (Flash) and /n/ (Transportation) under "Japanese Culture"?
How is "international" an interest while literature and fitness are not?
I know it doesn't really matter, but this triggers my autism.
SHINKANSEN
>>349048
>Why are /f/ (Flash) and /n/ (Transportation) under "Japanese Culture"?
A lot of the flash files posted on /f/ depict anime and other things that derive from Japanese culture. /n/ has discussion about trains, and trains are popular among otakus.
Literature is a medium that covers many different interests, while discussion about different cultures, languages, countries, etc is more of a standalone interest.
>>349059
>A lot of the flash files posted on /f/ depict anime and other things that derive from Japanese culture. /n/ has discussion about trains, and trains are popular among otakus.
Japan also has video games, a history, literature sports and scientific stuff that can be discussed, but those boards aren't under Japanese Culture. /f/ and /n/ cover a lot of stuff that isn't Japanese in nature.
>Literature is a medium that covers many different interests,

/new/ is coming back ladies & gents!
Thanks Hiro!

we knew about this for like 4 days

fuck my bad
The other rumor is we got a celebrity board coming as well, which will hopefully clean /tv/ up of those waifu threads and clean /v/ up of those e-celeb threads the Redditors love
The only people who still believe 4chan is an anime site are /a/ rejects from /v/
it's actually the jerkcity comments section
inb4 thread devolves into yet another 200+ post argument about how much weeaboos and normalfags suck.

Why is everyone against making new boards?
Isn't that how 2ch works? What's the problem?
>muh slow boards
So what? What's wrong with that?
Some people want to have few big boards so that they can shitpost with abandon. Not that creating new boards is always a good idea though (see: /aco/)
add a jerkcity board
I wish he'd make a cartoon board where we could talk about actual cartoons instead of capeshit for a change.
