See this is why all the art boards along with /po/ and /gd/ should be made into one board.
Or if anything allow site wide oekaki.
>>361033
Don't worry f4m I'll make it go away faster.
ah the good old days of 2012. fml.

>meanwhile on /a/
>lolicon right in the sticky

Just admit the rules are a cover for your bias.
Isn't this partially why /trash/ was made? Why not just go there?
>>358968
Loli ass isn't against the rules
Ass isn't against the rules as long as it's not from an h-manga (it shoukd have been spoilered, tho)
post 'em

Uses the word 'comfy' as a positive value to describe something.

I agree, /wwe/ should be moved over to /tv/ considering it's all fake anyway.
because people on /sp/ were such bitches they got them kicked off their board
all the more reason /sp/ is the worst board on this site
Do threads ever even get moved to /trash/ or did everyone just agree to let it be the furry board?
>>358995
/trash/ is 70% furry porn, 25% newfags pretending they're on old /b/, and 5% trashed threads.
Karen is so fucking sexy and cute.
I haven't seen any but I've seen the thread moving feature used a few times now. Both were /a/ threads one was a wallpaper thread that got moved to /w/ and the other a VN or LN thread (I forget which) that got moved to /jp/
My questions:
>/news/ is a text board
Why? What's the harm in having the ability to post images, especially as replies? I can foresee me wanting to post a reaction image to a news article. Maybe only disable images for the OP?
>When starting a thread you must include the complete URL of a news article from a credible news site
>editorial articles
Define "credible news site" and "editorial articles", because this is open to interpretation...

Since threads are autosaged after 48 hours, perhaps a higher bump limit should be in effect. Say, 4000 instead of 300/500. Since there's no images, loading time should be a lot faster. Plus, it would be good for all the live happening threads so that the board isn't flooded with them.
>>361711
My question:
What's the point of this thread? Do you really think mods will reply?
>>361722
>Do you really think mods will reply?
No.
>hiroJEWki creates /trash/
>people can still make threads, negating the whole purpose of moving off-topic threads from other boards
>becomes ponyfucker paradise overnight
Who put this gook in charge?
>>361455
seems a little rude desu
>>361455
considering /trash/'s board rules, GR15, and /mlp/ is a blue board, it's expected that it would turn out this way. next board that allows mlp should be [s4s]
Some people seem to know their shit belongs in the trash, and revel in it. Instead of giving the janitors more work, why not let oscar the grouch just live in the trash can?
What do you guys think is the best format for online discussion?
What do you think about the nested discussion format? (Please don't argue over reddit, since I'm talking about time ordered posts, not vote based, and I've never even used that site)
I always disliked the concept of nesting, but now I'm thinking it could have some benefits toward keeping threads on topic and making it easier for people to find areas of discussion they like, rather than jumping into arguments about things they dislike. But I'm not sure.
Any other discussion...

Nobody has any thoughts on this?
>>361691
No.
>>360989
Just use 4chanx if you want quote threading.
If you had to choose, would you rather your home board be flooded with hardcore Tumblr/Reddit SJWs or extreme /pol/ nazis?
>>360886
/pol/ nazis
they don't get offended at the thought of being called nazis or triggered when someone disagrees with them
>tfw homeboard is /v/
>don't even have to choose, the board is already flooded with both
JUST
I guess I'd go with /pol/fags. They only go crazy when they see minorities. Tumblrfags go crazy when they see the majority.
Sometimes
Evidently, or I wouldn't keep coming back to argue with all you retards
>>360823
Marginally.
Why not create many politics boards, since we don't all get along in /pol/?
Anarchism - /anar/
Communism - /com/
Socialism - /soc/
Liberalism - /lib/
Conservative - /cons/
National Socialism - /nsoc/
>>360663
>please make me my personal hugbox
this isn't reddit where each ideology has their own place to circle jerk each other.
National Socialism isn't a conservative ideology senpai
>>please make me my personal hugbox
And yet /vg/ was made, after shitstorm from in /v/ and /jp/ was made after too much 2hu shitposting. Almost every boards is a hugbox desu senpai
Should perpendicular posters be permabanned for a whole year?
I think it is a common consensus that perpendicular posters never contribute anything worthy of quality and only spout overused memes or things no one cares about. Perpendicular posters take up screen space with their posts yet their post is filled with zero intellectual content. They probably talk with their real life friends and tell them how they are cool for posting perpendicularly on the internet. They do nothing but bring the quality of threads and boards down.
Permaban them for a whole year and filter...

>Hiro makes /aco/
>it becomes /d/ 2.0
>Hiro makes /his/
>it becomes /pol/ 2.0
>Hiro makes /trash/
>it becomes /dx3/
Maybe this will teach you all a lesson. A lesson that making boards for shit you could of simply done without is pointless, and only causes cancerous groups to get a wider array of shit to spew seeds in.
Have you learned your lesson?
/his/ is pretty good. There's some discussion from both sides without being the righty hugbox /pol/ is that just spams memes and debunked infographics when a lefty opinion is voiced. Also /pol/ thinks /his/ is infested with reddit even when there is no obvious signs of reddit except not being /pol/, so that's a good sign.
>>360242
>it becomes /pol/ 2.0
But it didn't. Of course there's going to be the occasional thread about the Crusades or Hitler, but that's like expecting to go on /sp/ and not have any threads about Basketball. Besides, the aforementioned threads cover more relevant historiography, whereas similar /pol/ threads would just be 'DEUS VULT / da jooz'
>>360242
>/his/
>/pol/ 2.0
/his/ isn't anything like that
worst case scenario, it risks becoming more like /int/ 2.0
