What is the most memorable fun time you've had on this site
A thread on /a/ where someone accidentally posted his home address. A lot of anons were sending him gifts.
Roleplaying thread on /mlp/.
It all started with an avacado
/b/ in 2005, a sticky about some faggot getting infected by hundreds of viruses.
Everyone drew their own virus.
Here's lightbulb faggot, AKA Virus Buddy. The OP btw.
Definitely the most fun. There were fun times before that and after, but that thread truly did define "epic". Zero shitposts, everyone was contributing, near perfect thread of shitty paint drawings.
I'll be amazed if anyone else remembers that thread. Last good sticky on /b/ before it died due to anonymous faggotry and raid kiddies.
Day after day of browsing this site, I see nothing but people complaining about the quality of this site.
I'd legitimately like to know why you still come here everyday if it upsets you so much.
And don't give me that THE RIDE NEVER ENDS bullshit, actually give me your reasons.
Nobody is making you browse 4chan but yourself.
I like anonymous imageboards of a particular size.

Because reality is shit. Fake stuff is awesome and fun. Lies are cool. Censorship makes me feel safe and comfortable. But there's just something really refreshing about seeing the unaltered shit-tier reality of people and what they think. It's nice to feel bad about being yourself, but still be yourself. It's liberating to not have consequences.
But most of all, it's habit.
>>363353
What a horrible life you have.
>/news/ is a text board
Just bring back the actual text boards Hiro. I really liked them and I'm sure they don't take up too much bandwidth. Why were they even removed?
>>363140
>Why were they even removed
Imageboarders had started flocking there . Good decision by moot.
>>363142
Nice joke, "crossboarding" is not a reason
Why were they actually removed? Was it the advertising on some boards?
>>363144
They were abandoned for years, kinda like /rs/.
>yfw gamergate died without changing anything
It's not like anyone with half a brain didn't know that /b/ and /pol/ shit never works, but i feel like /v/ is getting better, less twitter drama, more japanese games, and the desu senpai thing is 10/10, i feel like 4chan is going to be great again in 2016.
No one with half a brain still uses /v/

>but i feel like /v/ is getting better

it changed /v/
now instead of 1 thread we have multiple threads with images of tweets
pretty sick

Filter the following words:
>entitled
>problematic
>toxic
>misogynistic
>misogynist
>misogyny
>cultural appropriation
Any suggestions as to what it should be filtered to? I'm no extremely creative but I thought it would go something like
>entitled
becomes
>right
>problematic
becomes
>spooky
>toxic
becomes
>mean
>misogynistic
becomes
>lovely
filter SJW to boogieman
>>361083
I hope you realize the irony of complaining about SJWs while trying to censor them
Roleplay board when?
>>360892
I'm talking about roleplaying as characters from anime and shit, not roleplaying as mystic ghost wizards from the future.
>>360859
I like to reread Medaka Box from time to time just to revel in shit like this.
Alright /qa/ lets settle this.

please allow gamergate back on /v/, single thread only like before
>>359184
Why? You people are literally social justice warriors.
>>359184
>gamergate
You, stormfags, and chanologists are cancer.
Hiro, did you forget about making /cpsht/?
Threads like >>>/co/77702026 aren't about comics or cartoons, don't belong on /co/ and certainly don't deserve a sticky.
Perhaps /co/ should have a rule defined like /a/'s rule #4 so that faggots like you would shut the fuck up and stop demanding for a board that would be too niche to be supported well. Ironically enough, allowing things like Toonami animes breaks the first rule for /co/.
>>359251
>a board that would be too niche to be supported well
You're ignoring that superheroes are extremely popular the world over as well as a constant presence on several boards of this site.
>>359133
>Hiro, did you forget about making /cpsht/?
He was never considering it. It was just a joke.
> The four men who were charged with shooting Black Lives Matter protesters in Minneapolis on Nov. 23 got caught because they left posts on the Internet message boards 4Chan and Reddit.com in which they bragged about their plans.
> “Investigators have viewed a 4Chan website email string where participants discussed going to the BLM protest to ‘stir things up’ and ’cause commotion,'” the documents reported. “Participants were encouraged to dress normal and look like the protesters but were told to ‘feel...

Jesus Christ, really?
Hiro, do you really wants racists to be the face of 4Chan? Do you really want people to think of edgy neo - nazis when someone mentions 4Chan?
Please, for all our futures delete /pol/
At what point is enough?
Anti-Semitism
Racism
Homophobia
Transphobia
Misogyny
Ableism
Ageism
Religious bigotry
Discrimination
Now wanton supression of democracy?
Enough is enough. Put a stop to this.
What's going on on your board anon?

HOLY FUCK, WHAT! HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THAT?
He's off the boat, he's actually off the fucking boat!
>>358706
>TFW THIS IS MY BOARD
This "social justice warrior" paranoia reminds me of the old days when everybody was scared of Communists.
Well, if you mean McCarthyism, then your post doesn't make sense since McCarthy's goal was to just accuse everyone of being Communist and had no proof. We have proof of SJWs doing shit, getting people fired, and in Britain, even being arrested for fucking hate speech. So, there's proof of the shit they do.
Outside of that, your post still makes no sense. Because the threat of Communism during the Cold War was very much real given how close to nuclear war we were half the time. But I get the feeling you knew this already.
>>360610
How can you be this big of a sperg and have never heard of the red scare?
>>360594
Sounds like something an sjw would say. Fuck off back to tumblr, you're not fooling me!
I've become really disappointed with the quality of moderation on /vp/ in the past eight or nine months. Day after day the board is getting flooded with all kinds of garbage and not only do the janitors there rarely ever delete anything but they ban people all the time for reporting legitimate shitposting like spamming/flooding, ban evasion, porn threads, one phone user that makes 30 or 40 threads complaining about Pokemon fans being furries, and subtle/blatant trolling.
If you've borne witness to this as I have, post here and discuss what can be done to improve...

If you're not from /vp/ and haven't been there every day for years now, then kindly fuck off.
>>364730
/vp/ is a battleground. See for yourself. These are very valid complaints.
