Just because it has so much /fur/ doesn't mean that's what the point of the board is. It just means that not all trash is fur but all furryposts are trash.
Something needs to be done about generals on 4chan. They're taking over every board on the site. /jp/ and /g/ in particular have been hit really badly, with most of the first page covered in generals.
When are we going to do something about this? They go against 4chan's purpose of temporary, disposable threads and encourage famewhores and tripfriends. They need to be either eradicated from 4chan or have a strict limit (like only one thread per week).

When general threads become thinly veiled chatrooms with non-content they go against the rules of the board and have no reason to exist.

I'm not supportive of the idea of deleting the /pol/ board because I think it will only cause /pol/ to spread like a plague to other boards (worse than it already has.) But can it be a global rule that overtly /pol/ posts shall not be posted outside of /pol/? Kinda tired of trying to talk about the stuff I entertain myself with to ESCAPE from crappy reality only to have those threads ruined by people arguing about /pol/ crap.

Better moderation is the only thing that can be done. With SJWs or other idiots, they fuck off when you insult them or tell them to leave. With /pol/, though, they're too dense and more abrasive so even though you might get them to start whining, you'll never get them to leave.

The email field should be returned. There are legitimate uses for it without being a constant emailfag. It makes it easier for anons to contact you without posting your email right into your comment (which just invites more problems), should that be needed for whatever reason. It would also give us visible sage once again. which most anons are in favor of. The email field is a basic part of most imageboards, and it should be here, like it used to be.

#hashtags on 4chan is something that should be implemented.
Why?
To make it easier for users to find messages with specific themes or content that go across boards.
For instance, superhero movies are both /co/ and /tv/ and with hashtags we'd be able to have expanded discussions.

If you want even more flexibility then use the neet catalog and use the digest feature with the search bar with multiple boards added to it.
