How does it feel knowing it was /r9k/ who saved 4chan culture? Their meme renaissance inexplicably got the rest of 4chan out of the ironic era at the sacrifice of destroying their board.
For that, we thank them.
Elaborate.
>>372561
Unironic era was just nsfw edgy reddit
>>372561
They were martyrs.
Should 4chan autoban everyone who uses words such as "kike", "faggot" or "nigger"?
>>372318
no. please leave
Yes.
>>372324
Please leave
>>372324
Why don't we let the people decide?

>/mu/ front page
Holy fucking shit. This is out of control. Please for the love of god fix /mu/.
>>372299
How does this affect advertising revenue?
>>372299
hey my *flips foon* shitpost is on there
nice, I've been immortalized
Looks fine.
/pol/fags really do shit up a lot of boards with their shilling. They have to inject their shitty cancerous ideology into almost every discussion they can.
Hiro should make it where if you've posted on /pol/ in the last 90 days, you should be identified globally on all boards as a /pol/ poster.
It can still be anonymous, they don't have to be IDs or anything, just maybe make it into a big gold Star of David. next to "Anonymous"
>>372224
but do you have a question?
>>372250
>implying this isn't neo-/q/
nice deflecting /pol/tard
>globally identifiable
What a terrible idea, I don't believe this type of website is for you.
How do we fix /qa/?
>>371959
Actively try to bump of flagposting and strawpoll threads with interesting /qa/ content like "interesting images" thread and "board happenings" threads.
>>371959
Make a sticky with dos and do nots
Can you create /lpol/ - leftist political incorect?
It would be fun having board for edgy leftist posters that love Stalin.
There are almost no leftists who support Stalin. Most leftists today are either anarchists or Trotskyists I think.
>>371960
Well it is imageboard after all. There would be tons of tankies, if /lpol/ will ever be created.
>>371935
/pol/ is neither right nor left in and of itself, it just happens to have a very far-right community because rightards love to bitch and complain about stuff, even more than the libtards they abhor.
Fuck the political spectrum.
I'd like to start off by saying that I am in no way implying that everyone else's experience with 4chan is the exact same as mine. This is just my personal experience with 4chan.
Today, After years of browsing 4chan everyday, I found myself taking a long hard look at why I still browse this site and if it's worth it in the long run. I browse /a/, yet I don't even watch anime anymore. I browse /v/ and /tv/ for news, but I hate the comments that get posted in the threads because they seem so underage. I don't know why I still come here.

because 4chan is one of the few websites that holds a nostalgic feeling for me.
the memes, the shitposting, the discussion, it's all part of something i hold very close to me. granted, 4chan isn't as good as it was but it still holds out as a unique website.
I'm always want to break free from this place. But then I realized there's no other place that suit me other than here.
I don't. I just hang around /qa/ to annoy people.
Moderators, can we please add "kill yourself" to the word filter or at least make it a bannable offense?
It's grossly offensive as many people here have lost a loved one or friend to suicide or they themselves may be depressed and in a vulnerable psychological state. I've had multiple instances where a poster told me or someone else to commit suicide. They don't even counter the poster's argument and instead just insult them. If you can't reply without telling someone to kill themselves then you shouldn't be posting here.
Thanks...

Dis gun be good..
>going to 4chan
>being depressed
Your fault dumbass
>>371677
Do you know where you are, faggot? You're on 4chan aka the Internet Hate Machine.
We made trolling an art. We raided game channels ruining the fun of millions of kids. We spammed porn on YouTube. We brought Scientology to its knees. We made countless camwhores put shoe on head and sharpie in pooper. We make people cry. We Rickrolled the world. We made girls cut for Beiber. We made the fappening happen. We hacked people from the highest echelons of government. We are feared across the whole internet....

what topics and board OP?
When that happens I just bump the thread pretending I'm different people and have a conversation with myself about the subject. Usually this is enough to get people besides me to start talking, but if someone notices and accuses me of samefagging, then the fun really begins because I accuse THEM of being the one to samefag up my thread.
Either way this absolutely never fails to get discussion rolling. You just need to have the determination to keep your thread alive for a while.
>>371569
I wanted to talk about some /a/ music but I didn't really want to just dump it in the generic OP/ED thread. I tried to do something more unique that I thought would leave more room for discussion
Is this accurate?
>>371556
those seem extremely arbitrary excepting a couple
>>371556
Pretty sure you messed up /x/ and /v/
Take this facebook tier shit somewhere else. Like facebook.
Anyone else noticing generals cancer creeping up on different boards? /int/ is a lost cause, every thread is a general, read: chatroom for slavic neets to exchange memes. now /mu/ has a million gay generals about literal diarrhea genres such as kpop and black metal. We should bring back text boards but make them the only place you're allowed to post generals.
>literal diarrhea genres such as kpop and black metal
>>371364
/tg/ as well
The generals there are so thick and numerous it's hard to get a decent discussion rolling on any other thread without resorting to blatant flamebait.
How do we fix /tv/
delete it and call it a day
>>371177
More baneposting and JUSTposting
remove hotheads
We've got to make sure the memes stay quality and consistent.
We're going to be reaching peak Star Wars soon, and I'm sure there's going to be a lot of raw material to work with there, on top of the already established memery. Sheev, Sand, Old Friend, all classics that I'm sure will continue to evolve and get new mutations with the upcoming movie.
Looking into 2016 we've got a lot of cape features to look forward to. Eisenberg's portrayal of Lex Luthor seems fairly memetic, but it could also go the way of 2014's Daneposting...

Why hasn't moot used his Admin Emeritus capcode yet?
>>371117
What the hell is moot? Fucking newfags
Hiro should remove that capcode. moot is history, he has no right showing up here with a special snowflake capcode next to his trip.
In fact, if I was Hiro, I would ban moot if he ever showed up here.
>>371130
Why should the person who administrated the site for 11 years be banned?
How many hours a day do you spend on 4chan?
I average at least 6.
bout tree fiddy
I'd say 8-16, depending on my sleep schedule and whether I play any videogames that day (I don't play very often, but when I do, I play for up to 10 hours)
About 11
Who is behind these communist/socialist shill threads on non /pol/ boards? Found this on /r9k/. These threads keep popping up in places they don't belong.
It's like last election. And the one before that. This shit happens every time.
You think thats bad? There is a retarded Gook that spams everyday about how he hates Japan, and another autist who spams everyday about some Stormfag dying
/pol/ Mods are the most incompetent cocksuckers on the entire site, I wouldnt be surprised if there arent any mods for the board, theyre that garbage
>Society > the individual
This is anti-communist propaganda, actual communists don't think like this. He's just a troll trying to rustle your jimmies.
